If you’ve read my previous reviews, you know I’m not someone who complains easily or leaves unfair feedback. However, I cannot stay silent after receiving one of the most disappointing service experiences I’ve had.
To begin with, the restaurant’s address does not match the location listed on Google. When I called to make a reservation, no one mentioned this. As a result, we went to the address shown online and spent about 15 minutes walking around trying to find the correct location, especially challenging with a group of eight adults and one child. I even kept calling the restaurant and no one was answering so I had to ask around the local businesses to finally find the location.
When we finally arrived, we were greeted by someone named Zaki. Unfortunately, this was one of the most unprofessional interactions I’ve experienced. He was extremely rude and indifferent to the inconvenience we had just faced. There was no acknowledgment, empathy, or basic courtesy. From that first encounter, I sensed the experience would not be pleasant, but given the time (1:30 PM) and the size of our group, changing plans wasn’t realistic.
Our waitress, Montana, was professional and kind, and I appreciate her efforts. However, my father’s meal arrived so late that the rest of us had nearly finished eating. When I brought this to the manager’s attention( Zaki), his response was, “Oh, just one person got their food late?” There was no apology, and the issue was dismissed as minor, which was disappointing.
As for the food, the portion sizes were appropriate, satisfying for one person with fair pricing. The quality was acceptable and they accommodated gluten free diet, but I have had better Persian cuisine elsewhere. Unfortunately, the service overshadowed everything else. The overall experience was upsetting enough that I didn’t even take a photo of the food to share.
I sincerely hope ownership takes service standards more seriously, as experiences like this will inevitably drive loyal customers away. This will be our last visit.

On Saturday night fourteenth of February we decided to go to this restaurant but although it was supposed to be open until eight pm, it was closed at seven pm and we were wondering why the website had not been updated… We saw some other people who were looking for the entrance of the restaurant and wondered why it was closed… I guess we won’t go back to this place…

We had an amazing experience at this restaurant tonight! The food was absolutely delicious — every dish was full of flavor and perfectly prepared.
A special shout-out to Asieh, our server, who was incredibly kind, attentive, and professional. She truly made our night even better.
I will definitely come back again and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great food and excellent service!
Cannot say enough how wonderful this restaurant is . Something for everyone and sooo tasty !! Can even accommodate bigger groups ( work parties with ease). Will be back!!

I was excited to try Anar Persian Cuisine, but the experience was a bit below expectations. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and the staff were polite, but the food didn’t quite match the price or the hype. The portions felt smaller than expected, and some dishes lacked the rich flavour and freshness you usually get with good Persian cuisine. Service was a little slow even though it wasn’t very busy.
It wasn’t a terrible visit, but I didn’t leave fully satisfied. I hope they can improve the quality and consistency because the place has good potential.

I had visited Anar at its old location and it was absolutely fabulous. Unfortunately, my recent experience was quite disappointing. The restaurant is now located inside a place called Seaside Grill, which was already confusing.
The food itself wasn’t memorable. The bread was served frozen, portions were very small for the price, and overall the dishes didn’t justify the cost.
Service was the biggest issue. Our server was absent-minded and barely around. The only bright spot was a pleasant Persian lady who actually seemed to understand what was happening. When we were waiting for our bill, no one passed by for a long time, and when we asked another server, she snapped at us saying, “I’ll tell your server.”
The flavors were decent, but the experience felt overpriced and not worth it compared to how great Anar used to be.
