Came here on Jan 1, 2026. This store is Completely under staffed. Only ONE at the counter that takes order and makes food.
The staff seems very under trained. We stood at door for a while not knowing if we should sit ourselves or wait to be guided. After we sat down, a group of 10 showed up! Then we don’t know if we order at the counter or wait for her to come to take order.
Then this staff went to the group of 10 to take order first even though we were here first ?!!! When we waived at her, she told us to wait ? Excuse me? She had no idea who came in first because 3 other groups came in and just sat themselves down. Completely disorganized. Which store put only one person at work on New Year holiday at 8:40pm?!!
I don’t even care about the desserts. This is a joke. Richmond people you can go somewhere else. If I can give Negative Star, I would.

Went to try the store after reading the reviews. We went around 3:30pm for take out, the store was empty, and one staff taking orders. The male staff there was rude and impatient; it did not feel like he wanted to work there. Food was good, portion was small. But, we won't be going back because of the service.

We always come back for the Mango Tapioca & Taro Mochi Soup and the Fermented Rice & Osmanthus Jelly with Mochi Balls — comforting, fragrant, and just the right sweetness.
Recently, we tried their new Red Bean Mochi Dorayaki, and it’s a must-order! Soft, chewy mochi with perfectly balanced red bean filling — such a nice addition to the menu. Highly recommend if you’re a dessert lover!
