I buy from this place for last 2 years. Always chose the same dish A10. It used to come with a small cup of sweet chilli sauce for the chicken. Last time and today they did not provide the sauce. I called the girl to ask why she kept insisting that it doesn't come with sauce. I said but I been buying this for 2 years now did it change? I asked to speak with someone else, but she continued to argue with me. She could of offered me some sauce I don't mind paying for it. Not happy customer service was quite rude. No option to make me happy just argue no sauce. Fine you just lost a customer. :(

Ordered from uber eats from Burnaby. There was a buy 1 get 1 promo plus 20% off. I was pleasantly surprised that everything was quite good.

I ordered the soup filled pork dumplings. It was delicious. Better than DTF.

I also ordered the classic bento with spiced chicken. It was also quite good.

I ordered a fried chicken fillet bowl and a Thai chicken with fried rice bowl from their Burnaby location today, the chicken thigh tasted sour both times. I order from all the time so I know this isn’t normal, the chicken must’ve been spoiled. Something’s wrong with the storage.

Had a great takeout lunch from here today! I ordered the BBQ Pork and Salty Peppery Chicken rice dish. Food was ready for pickup right on time and was very tasty. Portion sizes were also more than enough for a meal. Very glad to discover this place and will be coming back in the future!

The dish I received was nothing like the picture. Instead of the five large slices of sausage shown, I got a single tiny piece, and the broccoli was completely missing. If you don’t have the proper ingredients, you shouldn’t be accepting orders—it feels like a scam. I used to love this place, but after this experience, I won’t be coming back. P

Great little takeout place. Really good take away Taiwanese food. No seating, just an order and pickup counter. Friendly staff out front, buts needs a bigger visual menu for ordering. Order the salty peppery chicken on rice, good variety of condiments included.

Good portions generally. Consistent. Decent lunch deals. Fairly filling. Good mixes of variety and flavors. Come here a lot. Reliable so far. Hope it stays that way

Pretty good Tawainese take out. I was in the area running an errand and discovered Bala Foods while walking around the area. Good value and portions. All the ingredients used tasted fresh and crisp.

Found this new spot while door-dashing. Amazing workers. I was greeted with big smiles. I got answers to my questions right away no barriers. Food smells amazing and prices are pretty good. I always say this though, check ‘em out for yourself!
