Blenz Coffee

I think this is the end of my journey patronizing Blenz 3 to 4 times a week for almost Three years at Richmond center, as my friend and I had been treated rudely which i definitely sure i do not deserve, most of the old employees knows me and treats me kindly. The new person wearing eyeglasses on the cashier station does not have a knowledge what courtesy is. A rude person to the customers. Such a bad experience last week.

I came here in the afternoon to buy my friend a power matcha. I have already left the establishment to give it to my friend and she realized there is no whey powder at all and it was basically only a matcha slushie. This cost $10.49 and there is no protein powder, unbelievable. How do you make a protein shake with no protein?

Bad service. The kids working there are typical Gen z, no manners, make you wait to take your order and make you feel like theyre doing you a favor by them doing their job... Too bad because the coffee is decent when someone who gives a crap is working. Won't be coming back

I was at the Benz at Richmond mall today and will be the last. I have been there before with no problem. Today the two girls there were very rude and very unpleasant. All I had was a Tea and scone. Twice they got it mixed up and tried charging me double the price. All the time rolling their eyes at me with a dirty look. Come in now. It’s just a coffee shop. Let’s be friendly.

I got iced milk chocolate and tasted like almost milk. Less chocolate flavour…I usually like it but not today.
The girl at the counter was using her phone right after I finished the payment.

Loved their hot dark chocolate mocha … simple and to the point …

At this Richmond Centre location today. I believe it is ran by a lady and her two sons. It is always a pleasure to come here for a sit down and relax with my elderly parents. The young man taking my order is very patient. I highly recommend taking a break here while in the mall

Very watery mochachillo. This is my go to drink here at Blenz. I feel like I’m just drinking an iced mocha. :/

Inconsistent blending of matchachilllos. Sometimes they are amazingly smooth while other times there are chunks of ice, some large enough to plug the straw. It isnt that difficult to ensure a sufficient blend...just blend longer and stir/move the ice around once in a while.

I have asked an employee once to redo my drink and they had no problem with it. However, the issue then was that the matchachillo was not as creamy as it is supposed to be.

I suppose it depends on the employee and their attention to details, but inconsistency has given me hesitation to return.

I ordered a matcha and it took them 15 minutes to make it. I also ordered a slice of chocolate cake, it was obvious that they made it last week. It wasnt fresh at all.

I was a regular customer in BLENZ Coffee at Richmond Centre but unfortunately, it will end today due to unpleasant and unprofessional experience. I was harassed by one particular female customer about my phone conversation being too loud. Only her as a customer complaining. I ignored it and turned it down a little. She came back to tell me in my face the same thing adding that I am being rude. I felt intimidated. When she left the coffee shop, one of the staff came out and told me it’s too loud. I felt I was not being treated fairly since it was no different from the volume of how the couple behind me were talking and the one behind them was having a video conversation like me. Plus there is music in the background. That’s pure discrimination and not a friendly and welcoming place. I hope they do something about this going forward.

Hot chocolate is too milky and doesn’t taste like hot chocolate at all

In the bustling shopping mall, this place is surprisingly quiet. It offers private, partitioned spaces and soft music. Whenever I visit this mall, I love sitting here to relax
