We waited about 30 minutes to get the food and quality of the food was really disappointing. We ordered hard boiled Benedict egg, but it was medium when the food on the table. And the mushrooms are also cold.

Spotlessly clean, friendly and courteous staff, good but not great food. Recently had a late breakfast (a vegetarian omelette) and very much enjoyed the meal. The service was top notch, however the food was merely ok, bordering on good. Their menu is a little bougie, but it’s that kind of place. I also found their prices to be somewhat higher than the average for this type of place. They did however appear to have very high quality ingredients. The coffee was excellent, and they were fairly quick with refills. 4/5 is a bit generous for the food, their service however earned an honest 5/5.

However, the standard is not compromised. The portion size is not enough based on the price, and there is no surprise. It may be because there are too many customers on Sundays, so the food prepared by the chef is also inferior. Two cups of coffee are still ok. I will buy it next time at the same price. Choose to go to Golf Club to enjoy!

Everything Tastes So Fresh!!!
It’s a family restaurant... CLEAN! Friendly! And so TASTY!!! I’ve never had such a delicious breakfast. I had the steelhead salmon bennie; So good. The side potatoes were perfect: Crispy, fresh, hot, tender and delicious. Seriously the best food I’ve had in years. The glasses and cups were nice and our waitress was lovely.

The only slight drawback: The black tea wasn’t premium grade, like the food.. I like a high-grade organic assam black tea, but then I’m guessing the price point would be $8-$9 per pot?? Maybe the chef/owner would consider including premium grade tea? But to be clear, the fresh tasty meal made up for it, 100%.. and maybe tea isn’t a big seller. Good tea is very expensive.

So many options and adjustments for celiac! It's rare that I feel super safe eating at a restaurant and this place went above and beyond to make me feel safe. Went here for breakfast and the staff was so helpful in explaining the menu and helping me choose the best options. The food was incredible, had a smoked steelhead eggs Benedict on a gluten free waffle and the ube latte. They explained the other options and even went over the plate with me when they brought it to mention that they panfried my potatoes instead of putting them in the fryer which isn't separate. The food was perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. I couldn't recommend this place more for people looking for amazing gluten free options. Thank you!

Their waffle had a texture similar to rice cake rather than fluffy. The sauce that was mixed with it didn't match the waffle at all. We are unable to finish our meal. Very disappointed.

Went to have a late meal with a couple friends and it was pretty tasty, service was nice and friendly just a bit loud indoors on a weekend when it is busy with family, also the door is sticky - hard to open ?

? Perfect Family Brunch Spot at Breakfast Table Steveston! ?

? Finally got to try the Breakfast Table—this time at their Steveston location after visiting Fisherman’s Wharf. The cozy, welcoming vibe was perfect for a family brunch. With a lovely rustic-chic decor and bright natural lighting, it’s an Instagram-worthy spot. The kids loved it and are already asking when we can go back!

? The food was fantastic! We enjoyed both savory and sweet options, all beautifully presented on charming rustic plates. The portions were generous, and everything was packed with flavor. The staff was super friendly, and the restaurant was very accommodating for families.

? Located right in Steveston Village, it’s a perfect spot to fuel up before exploring. The relaxed atmosphere and attention to detail make it a wonderful place to start the day.

Breakfast Table is a cute little brunch spot in Steveston, close to the pier. When we arrived, there wasn't a long wait for our group of four to be seated. The service was amazing! Our server was so friendly and quick too.

Everyone ordered drinks; I picked a Steveston Sunrise and it was absolutely delicious. Very sweet and a perfect pairing for brunch. I also got a Hipster Benedict because I wanted to try their house made bacon, with fries instead of breakfast potatoes.

Overall, I was not too impressed with their Benedict. The eggs were poached well, but I didn't get a lot of flavor in them. The bacon was also only just okay, which was a shame, I was expecting to be impressed! However, the fries were amazing. They had tons of flavour and seasoning and every bite was delicious. I was so pleased with the taste and couldn't get enough!

Ultimately, I should've picked their current special, a steak and egg sandwich, but I know for next time!
