HK style OG dessert place, ran by family owned biz... Well they also have OG style spam and eggs instant noodles. If you're from HK you would know what I'm talking about. Nothing like chains that are all fancy, sometimes places like these are places that bring back how traditional Chinese dessert places were like. Nothing fancy, but the simple stuff we ate when we're young/back home. I might be wrong, but I think they make their own black sesame dumplings etc. Sorry, not many pics, got too excited eating my favorite fluffy cream toast, although that might be Taiwanese, but it's simple like and gets satisfies my craving!

Only flaw, cash only and they don't take emt or have an atm, but few stores down is HSBC...

Cash only!
There are not many tables and chairs, and seats will be available at 6 p.m.
There is paid parking on the roadside. The Cantonese sweet water is really delicious and highly recommended.

Here’s a review of my recent visit to Bubble Fruity ?:

Wide Variety of Desserts ??: Bubble Fruity offers a vast array of desserts, from traditional Chinese treats (hot/cold) ? to snacks like fried noodles ?, toasts, and sandwiches ?.

Fresh and High-Quality Ingredients ?: They create delicious and refreshing desserts using only the freshest ingredients ?!

Ambiance ?: This dessert house has a Hong Kong-style atmosphere ??. The place is often packed, but it’s a great spot for hangouts and dates ?.

Friendly and Attentive Service ?: The staff are super friendly, attentive, and happy to help with any customization options you might need .

However, there are a few things to note:

Long Wait Times ⏳: Popular items like snow ice ? and waffle sandwiches can have long wait times, especially during peak hours.

Prices ?: Some desserts may be a bit pricier than others in the area, but trust me, the quality justifies the cost! ?

Unannounced Holiday ?: They were closed for the whole month, which makes sense since it’s a home business ?—everyone needs a break! ?

Menu Highlights ?:

Hot Black Sesame Paste ?

Hot Tofu Pudding ?

Conclusion ?:

Bubble Fruity Dessert House in Richmond is a must-visit for dessert lovers! With a wide variety of options, fresh ingredients, and a Hong Kong-style atmosphere, it’s a great spot to satisfy your sweet tooth ?. Be prepared for potential wait times ⏰, but the quality and taste make it well worth the visit! ?

We were surprised that they only put the menu of bubble tea on the counter and put the menu of the desserts on the side and people might miss seeing it. Did they want people to order bubble tea and not the desserts? When we tried to get the menu of desserts, the two male servers asked us right away if we were to dine in or take out. Then one of them directed us to sit down immediately before I answered them. We told them that we would take out and the server gave me a disgusted face. Then he went back behind the counter.

After we read the menu and tried to order, the male server ignored me when I tried to talk to him (he continued to look down at the counter). He was rude (they were mad that we did not dine in). He gave me the change back without saying 'thank you.' We ordered the Mango Sago Cream with Grapefruit and Mango Sago Cream. The food came quickly and the male server spoke unclearly about the spoon inside the take out bag. We were not sure if he was saying 'napkin' or 'spoon' because they sounded similar in Chinese. It turned out that he did not give us napkins which was unprofessional.

They put frozen grapefruit in the Mango Sago Cream with Grapefruit and you could bite the iced grapefruit. Then they just put the same mixture for the Mango Sago Cream. The desserts were awful. They did not use mango chunks and coconut milk for the desserts. There was no cream in the desserts so the desserts were not sweet. They put basil seeds on top of the desserts to compensate for the lack of coconut milk/ cream. The desserts were not authentic - they looked different and they tasted different without the right ingredients.
