Came here with my wife as we just wanted something quick and simple to eat after shopping at T&T at Lansdowne Mall.
This restaurant is located inside the mall and we have been here a couple of times but each time ordering different menu items. This time we ordered their Hong Kong Style Rice Roll and Lamb Soup Noodle with Fish Soup. This came with a hot drink so ordered Hong Kong Milk Tea.
The rice roll was ok as there is a mix of sweet soy sauce and peanut sauce mixed with the rice rolls and fish siu mai. My wife said it was too sweet and I have to agree. The noodle dish was actually very good as the soup was very refreshing and had lots of different ingredients. The drink was just alright.
The meal itself wasn't too expensive as it came out to around $25 after taxes for 2 people. Will come back again to try other items.

I ordered a Hoi Nam Chicken set online with 10% off. The quality was very HK style instead of Singapore style. There were no dark soy sauce and no veg to serve with the set. The milk tea came with was not as good as Grill King but it would be executed as it should be focus on Bubble Waffle 🤣. If it considers to have veg and dark soy sauce in the set with the discount, I may think of come again and try !! 🤔

2024/9/15 I went to Bubble Waffle Cafe @Lansdowne Mall for lunch. I ordered Laksa Noodles Soup with beef & fried chicken. The taste of laksa soup was good, however the veg & other ingredients used were a bit strange, not so authentic. The price (CAD 15) was fair.

I’ve never been so disappointed in Richmond restaurants until today. Wish I could give zero if there’s an option. Awful food. Never seen 3 cups chicken uses deep fried chicken. Seriously? Service is poor too. After long waiting but don’t see my number on the screen, until I asked staff myself.

Doesn’t worth it at all. There a lot more better options around. All the posters give an authentic atmosphere and then the food disappoint it. The yellow chicken rice has nothing to do with “Hainanese chicken rice” only except that it’s yellow. The Three Spices Chicken was fried (it’s not supposed to be). All you get with 14$ is all this and a piece of broccoli. Also the number-calling board does not update itself. Had to check if the order was ready myself.

I used the mobile ordering system and it was perfect while I found a table, cause getting a table around this neck of the woods is rough haha. It’s almost like trying to get a seat at crystal mall.
I got the chicken laksa combo. It was delicious ?. The bubble waffle was light and airy. The popcorn chicken was seasoned well. Great lunch!
I bought a three-cup chicken set meal here yesterday. The quality was extremely poor. Except for the fried and burnt flour dough with a bit of chicken skin, there was basically no chicken. I cannot patronize this stall anymore.

Ordering food for the first time can be confusing. The only menu he can draw is for noodles of your own choice. For anything else you want to order, you have to look directly at the menu displayed on his screen. I really hope he can have a fully integrated menu...otherwise I really don’t know how to read it.
There is a special offer on egg waffles + drinks in the afternoon ~ I especially like their frozen lemon tea!
