Bubble Waffle Cafe Blundell

It's a bubble waffle cafe.
My wife ordered a bubble waffle for herself and our son. They sat at one of the tables in the empty cafe to enjoy the Bubble Waffles from this Bubble Waffle cafe.

They were told the waffles were for take out only so they could not sit inside the cafe and enjoy it.

Rude owner, disgusting food. Don’t go to this location. The person who runs this place lacks basic manners of customer service and handles food very unhygienically.

I don’t normally leave bad reviews, but for this one, it was so bad. The rice noodles were overly cooked, so soggy! when I tried to pick them up, they broke right away. The rice for the Hainanese chicken was half cooked, I could still taste the grain! The lemon water that came with the meal only had one piece of lemon! I mean, I could just make this at home and call it a day.

I’ve been to many Bubble waffle places, the quality were all consistent. This one is yet to be the worst!

When I called to let the owner know, she made it sounds like it’s someone else’s fault, very irresponsible. She was the only person in the store, so I’m not sure who else would cook it.

Avoid it if you can. The plaza has a lot more to offer than soggy rice noodles.

she claimed a bowl of steamed rice is $2 but charged me $4 + tax. I reason with her but she insist she said its $4 in first place.

Ok the food was below expectation in comparison with Landsdowne centre branch but was ok. And most importantly tou have to tip 10% at least to dine in so you pay for food with gst pst and then 15% tip to be able to serve inside which is a (F)eatured - (U)gliness in your face with smile from lady working inside. Not coming back bad customer greedy service.

I walked in to order a bubble waffle and was told it would be ready in 10 minutes. I took a short walk around the plaza and came back after 10 minutes, only to be met with a rude response. The lady (older woman with noticeable facial pigmentation) raised her voice at us, telling us to come back in 15 minutes and insisted we wait outside the restaurant. Strangely, there were two other customers (Indian) sitting inside waiting for their food, so I don’t understand why we were treated differently. The whole experience left a very bad impression.

The old waitress (she said she was not the boss) Her attitude was extremely rude and unprofessional. I will never come back. Please avoid this restaurant — there’s no need to ruin your day with such unpleasant service.

Drinks are completely watered down at this branch. Manager cheaps out on ingredients! DON’T EVER COME TO THIS BRANCH!

Tried the Hainanese boneless chicken here. With any rice or noodles, you can add $1.50 extra for bubble waffle.

The service is alright and there are plenty of parking spots in this mall.

I did find the food quite pricey for the portion size, but it tastes fine. You can also get a stamp card to collect for a free bubble waffle.

Lady behind the counter was friendly and served us multiple times with a smile. Even came to clear our table after. Only BWC I've been that doesn't automatically serve you in takeout containers, which I appreciate (ie sustainability).
Don't let the negative influencer bombs deter you from this humble mom & pop feeling place. Happy I didn't.

food RIPOFF very tiny portions too much rice barely any vegetables. I got like the 16 dollar pork cutlet thing with garlic sauce super upsetting. It was a quiet location which was nice. If you want bubble waffle don’t go to that one for a meal. Going there for a meal is A HARD NO.
