This OG Taiwanese cafe has been around for ages & needs no introduction! To this day, their prices are still very affordable, & their food & drinks still hit the spot for comfort food. - Salty Peppery Chicken Nugget Rice - Laksa Surf'n'Turf Hot Pot - Mango Ice Cream Slush - Taro Oreo Slush Their salty peppery chicken is a must-order. It's juicy & crispy, & the rice set comes with lots of extra sides such as tofu, veggies, sausage, & egg. I also tried the new Laksa Surf'n'Turf Hot Pot, which has all the usual hot pot fixings, a meat choice, rice, & dips -- a hearty choice for a cold day. Their slushes are also pretty good, & my fave to get here is the Mango Ice Cream Slush. At half sweet, this drink is a great balance of refreshing & creamy. The Taro Oreo one was very sweet & had a heavy taro flavour. Overall, a casual spot for hearty comforting eats!

There are quite a few seats in the store and there is only one waiter ~ there is also one at the bar. Fortunately there are not many people hahaFood part:- Salty crispy chicken $10.95: Wow, the meat is fresh and tender and the chicken skin is fried. The portion is similar to the one sold in T&T but it is 5 yuan more expensive It is still delicious but a bit expensive- Beef tendon, brisket and eggplant clay pot rice $16.5: When it was served, I discovered that the sauce tasted exactly like the mushroom sauce of Taiwan night market steak! It’s the same cooking bag. The beef tendon and brisket are quite tender, but the same... so expensive and so small -Add set meal for $2: It turns out it’s just two small dishes not worth it.Overall, it's a bit expensive and the portion is small, but the taste is okay.

The salted crispy chicken is delicious, and the Hakka stir-fry is good. Unfortunately, there are very few hot pot ingredients, the soup is MSG, and overall the hot pot is not delicious.
Ordered 盐酥鸡 combo and 牛肉饭 and Pork intestines as appetizer. The cabbage is a big chunk and not separated. Doufu is the worst, salty no taste. Other than that the food is fine. The size is ok.The restaurant is not too busy. Parking is difficult to find.
I had the simmered egg with tomato stock and chicken and oh my goodness it taste exactly the same 15 years ago. Really good flavor and huge portion too. A must try!
