Buffets near Richmond

“I discovered this with a recommendation of a co-worker who just found it online, he knows that i love all you can eat buffet restaurant. First and foremost my experience with this “all you can eat resto” was unique compared to the others
1) it’s all you can eat lunch buffet with unique aluminum plate ( they also have take out)
2) cheap compared to others ($15 per head lunch)
3) no table setting,
just line up -> pay -> get you aluminum rectangular box thing with rice -> line up again for different kinds of palatable chinese dishes as shown in the picture -> find your chair and table -> enjoy your unique food with chopstick and spoon provided.
The aluminum box serves as you plate looks untidy and old but that’s one of the reasons why this resto is unique and cheap price but the restaurant set up inside and outside looks fancy and 5stars
I taught at first this restaurant is only for rich people because of its looks, i felt skeptical that this is 15$ lunch buffet, then my guts told me to try it so i tried, after that i left the place with satisfaction and happiness in my face and stomach.
Food is a little salty by the way.

“Ate at the Buffet at River Rock and enjoyed my meal just fine. Not sure bout the past comments. Perhaps things have changed. Chinese food was good, deep fried squid was great. Lots of seafood and sushi. The beef carving is not prime rib but for beef its fine. No crab anymore but has anyone seen the price of crab? No wonder. So overall good. Lots of salads and desserts plus nice soft ice cream. They said it was new mix! Overall ?“

“Absolutely phenomenal. Loved this place, unfortunately it was my first and probably only visit I'll ever be able to do as we attended with some friends who are season ticket holders.The food and service was amazing, and in between periods felt like a couple of minutes as you were busy getting food and chatting.Definitely somewhere you need to experience at least once. I'd love to go back but like I said, it'll probably never happen again unfortunately.“
