We love ordering trays from here for almost 4 years now. our favorites are the squid, honey spare ribs, and fish fillet. They never disappoint! Portions are huge and prices are much more affordable compared to other Chinese restaurants.

i’m giving the soy sauce chicken 豉油雞 5 stars alone!! it’s tender and flavourful. haven’t had soy sauce chicken this good here. the broccoli is crispy and the green beans the same. portion is very generous as others have mentioned. i personally prefer this one to the one on the opposite side as the latter is stronger on the salt but you can decide for yourself. i can’t wait to try the deep fried squid!! 😋 this price for this quality is insane! ordering is as usual a bit chaotic though not for the indecisive ones haha (which is me)

bad experience, very aggressive when going up to the counter, this is a cash only place as well so just know that.. Food is very bland, not seasoned well. seems to be sitting around all days almost like a buffet style. Very surprised at the 4.5 star rating. Went to this place just because of that rating. I’m sure there are tons of chinese places in vancouver that are way better than this one. I would never come back here and would not advise anyone to come.. Google reviews is almost always spot on but this one for sure slipped through the cracks.

A super sweet auntie was so accommodating and generous with the portions! For less than 20 bucks, I can eat like 3 meals worth of food!!! 😭❤️❤️ Will come again!!!!
I usually grab calamari & fried shrimps for takeaway. Shrimp is fresh and crispy. I noticed that many times, the cashier charged me the right price ($20), but she put the price in the cash drawer, just only $16?

Used Captain Wa to cater for 100 people and they were so accommodating, easy to deal with, and super generous (gave us extra food and extra spring rolls to make sure everyone was fed!!). Thank you!!!

Not the usual place I order crabs, but the other did not have crabs that day and they are only ones with crabs. The choices for flavor is less than the other shops. Only salt and pepper or spicy. $15 for Dungeness crab. $20 for lobster.
