If I could’ve just tipped the kitchen I would have! Service was awful and slow. Wish the front of house was as good as the kitchen.

Excellent food and lovely spot. Service was good but two different servers gave us 2 different answers on what the soup of the day was and one neglected to tell us at all about a daily feature.

Used to be our go to dinner place when in Richmond. It seems the portions of seafood have suffered and at least a little garlic in the Caesar salad might help with the flavour of it.

It's always a pleasure to visit The Catch. Good tasty food, well presented with just the correct level of service (hate multiple visits to our table asking how the food is at some restaurants) Obviously the view is second to none but at 7pm it doesn't do it for the obvious reason. No doubt we will return soon

Everyone were super friendly. Food came out fast, they have a great happy hour, great options and tasty tasty tasty. Overall all the views from the restaurant are so nice. It's our second time there and we'll be back (:

Had the miso glazed black cod and was quite disappointed. The fish itself was not bad, but everything else looked like there was no effort that was put in. The chef seemed to have just slap a few carrots and bok choys, so the plate would not have looked so empty. My friend who got the same thing agreed. We both felt that had the dish been a homemade dish, it would have been very impressive, but it was made at a restaurant priced at $32 each - not worth any penny. The only thing decent was the view. I did enjoy the gimlet cocktail, though.

Food was excellent as always. Service was extremely slow. I had a feeling there were staffing issues. The restaurant was quite full but noticed only three or four servers. They did the best they could.

The rice in the tuna poké bowl was mushy.

Terrible service. As good as the food may have been, the staff wasn’t friendly. Despite having so many open tables. We weren’t shifted when we requested a table change telling us those tables are reserved. Even though we went in with reservation. None of those tables were taken while we were there. Very disappointed and won’t be going back. Avoid if you like enjoying the service with your food.

The Catch has fantastic views and very good food and value in today's market. It's family friendly and an enjoyable outing for couples and friends. The separate bar area is also a great place to gather with friends or a slightly more casual time. You know it's a good spot because many locals are repeat customers.

Had a reservation for 9pm drive out all the way from Coquitlam and got turned away. This place is a joke.

Really great location with a nice view if you are seated near a window. The staff was also very nice although our server forgot multiple items multiple times. We asked for ice tea, butter, and extra bread which she forgot (although she was very apologetic about it).The food was mediocre. I order sablefish at a lot of different restaurants but I did not like the sablefish here. I thought it was very plain for the amount of money you are paying. Plain rice with sablefish that was really soft and soggy. At other places I have gone to, the sablefish was soft in the inside with a crispy sweet outside. My friends had the chowder and some pastas which they liked.
