Beware of ordering takeout: They took our order waited half of the delivery time to cancel the order saying they can’t do it. They shouldn’t accept orders or tell people promptly. Very disappointed with the service

Really delicious food and they are piping hot! This restaurant does more like a chef's choice where you let them know how many people, your total budget and any dietary restrictions, and they will whip up special dishes for you.

On Sunday night, I came across this restaurant through Google reviews. The set menu, serving Shanghainese cuisine, costs $80 per person. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The lobster served was long dead, with moist and unappetizing meat. The steamed fish was undercooked and still bleeding. All the dishes were excessively salty and oily.
There was no service to speak of—plates were not changed, and tea was not refilled throughout the entire meal. I find it hard to believe that this restaurant can survive in Vancouver, where food quality and taste are held to such high standards.
This is a restaurant with premium prices but food-court quality.
Avoid at all costs.

The service was amazing! Our server was outgoing and spoke English, Cantonese, and mandarin. She was informative and knew how to joke! The food was really good for the most part. The lotus root was mushy and sweet, it just wasn’t for me. There was also a dish that was mainly made of Szechuan peppers and a bit of meat, there was barely meat. The chicken was super good! The truffle egg was very delicious. Shanghai juicy buns were amazing. The restaurant looked upscale. The bathrooms were clean! Only reason I made it 5 stars and not 4 was they also had a karaoke room upstairs too, food was still pretty good except the dishes mentioned above, and the bathrooms were clean! Would definitely recommend!

If you're looking for hidden gems of Shanghai cuisine, this is a must-visit spot. Don’t let the exterior, located next to a car repair shop, fool you. Inside, the restaurant is beautifully decorated and the service is incredibly friendly. The food is outstanding, offering authentic Jiangzhe-style dishes that you won’t want to miss. We've already been there twice in one week! Highly recommend it!

Went here today because they don't open until 12 noon. There was no one. The two of us ordered a portion of smoked fish for 35 yuan. We used a small plate as big as a palm. The black membrane inside the fish was still there. The taste was average and there were a lot of fish leftovers. Then I ordered Fried Rice Cake with Pickled Vegetables and Shredded Pork. I was so sour after taking one bite. When I looked carefully, the bamboo shoots inside were from cans. They were so sour that I couldn’t bear to throw them away. They were put into the stir-fried rice cakes for us. There are also pan-fried buns, which are obviously pre-made food. I can’t praise them very much. There was a little bit less rice cake, and neither of us had much appetite, so we finished it all. I will never come again

Really good restaurant that my friend introduced to me. First time to come here, individual room, the quality of dish is high end, fresh seafood, some Shanghai cuisine, Guandong Cuisine, waitresses are professional, always check and change our plates. Inside environment is clean and elegant, suitable for friends, family or company gathering here. I will recommend this restaurant to my clients or friends, worthy to try.
