Highlight is definitely the portion sizes - huge servings and tasty too for great prices! Great service as well, as we walked in close to last call (around 35 minutes before closing) but were greeted with nothing but smiles. Our server/host helped us cash in a BOGO deal when we ordered without realizing, so that was amazing as well. They had delicious coconut jelly on the house too; loved the experience (and food) here.

Late night parking is easy (lots of empty parking lot and street parking spots) but may be harder during the day.

Why did I only just discover this place now?! 🤯 First of all, the late night deal is super good it almost made me cry 😭Personally I really like all the ‘Happy Hour’ deal. I don’t even drink soju usually… but somehow ended up finishing 3 bottles mixed with beer🍻’somaek’ night for two ppl. Haha. 😇

The kimchi pancake? Absolutely insane. One of the best I’ve had in Vancouver 🔥

Came here for lunch on a Sunday and had a wonderful dining experience! Delicious starters, the mains were all excellent and they even gave us cutie little desserts on the house ❤️
We would absolutely come back next time we are in the area.

This place is located on the dredded 'eat street' in Richmond, which is notorious for terrible parking. All the spots in this complex have a restaurant name on them, and we could not find any with Cherry Food House on them. I noticed everyone just parked anywhere, regardless of which restaurant.

This place is busy! I would suggest booking ahead. Service is very friendly but hard to flag down because they are busy. The call button at the table didn't work.

The food has big portions, especially the big pots. Normal price could be around $50+, but the budaejjigae is $37 here, and the pan was wide and deep.

However, the downside was the taste. It does taste like normal Korean food, and things are a bit off. The budaejjigae feels like it didn't have dashi in it. The seafood green onion pancake was 90% imitation crab. Pajeons are supposed to be mainly green onion, but this felt like a cake of imitation crab only. Maybe a couple of pieces of green onion, cuttlefish, and shrimp. The fried chicken was ok. They serve free dessert at the end - feels like some pudding with sweet syrup.

If you don't mind about taste and just want a lot of food for cheap then this is for you.

I was late to pick up my online order and the manager made me a fresh order and also gave me more side dishes. Great service!

Super nice owner, loved the seafood pancake

Came here early on a weekday to try it after seeing an Instagram post. We ordered the fried chicken, bibimbap and japchae . The hot stone bibimbap had a funny taste, almost plastic taste. The rest of the food was okay.

It was ok! They were accommodating with our huge reservations but the food portions (esp the chickens) were really small for the price. Also super strict on bill splitting so we're kinda stuck with our table to share. Not much free side dishes too like radish or kimchi unlike most korean restaurants. Serving was quick despite large numbers of customers though which was a plus!

Awesome place for late night food! There are great classic dishes and you can ask for free refills. I find that the food was flavourful and came hot. Additionally they have a little sweet dessert at the end which really sealed the meal. I really enjoyed that the fried chicken has rice cakes included as well.
