I had a great experience at Tai Er! The sauerkraut fish was packed with bold flavors, and the spice level was just right even for kids. Tai Er is a lively spot known for its signature sauerkraut fish, and it definitely lives up to the hype. The broth is tangy, spicy, and packed with flavor, perfectly balancing richness with a refreshing kick from the pickled vegetables. Portions are generous, making it great for sharing, and the playful, energetic atmosphere adds to the experience. If you’re into bold flavors and something a little different, Tai Er is a must-try.
We are group of 7, probably recommended 4-6 people. The main fish dish is great, maybe spicy would be much better. In general the side dishes are not very recommended to order. They display their cooking as an entertainment, however sometimes seeing how they have dropped the cooked chicken wings on the table top and put it back to the tray, doesn’t make you confident in eating. Sometimes if it is the process of making xiaolung bao or making ice-cream might be more attractive.
