A great location, great fun food, great prices and great service. Our family enjoyed sitting on the balcony and looking at the water while we had delicious food. We had the salty chicken on rice and a spicy soup with beef. Both were super delicious. We also had bubble tea which was great. The staff were patient with our kids. We'll be back!

Poor food quality, the fried chicken were burnt and too dry, small portion of meat, and the fried tofu didn’t taste good neither.

Chicken was not cooked. The Chicken leg and thy (chicken maryland) was raw in the middle. This usually indicates they use frozen Chicken. Be careful 🧐

Everything we had was delicious. We had lunch here before our 25km bike ride so we needed something substantial. Very happy that we got the last booth as they are usually quite busy, especially on a sunny weekend. I had the trio with soupe noodle, which included fried chicken nuggets, tendon and oysters. Was I a bit worried about oysters before a hot sunny bike ride? Yes. Did I get sick? Definitely not. The little oysters were so yummy actually, I wish I had the oyster pancake. Squid was also very flavourful and yummy.

I originally had high hopes for this place since the menu looked promising, but the actual dining experience was underwhelming.

We ordered the popcorn chicken rice, but the chicken was surprisingly soft and overly greasy, missing the signature crispy and juicy texture of proper Taiwanese popcorn chicken. The rice was also too soft and clumpy, all stuck together in a way that made it really hard to eat. It felt heavy and hard to enjoy.

The stinky tofu was served cold, not even at room temperature. After mentioning it to the staff, they kindly replaced it, which we appreciated but still, it was disappointing for a dish that’s meant to be hot and crispy.

The only highlight was the spicy wontons. They were flavorful, with thin wrappers and a tasty filling. The chili oil sauce had a nice balance too. Definitely the best part of the meal.

In addition, the indoor seating was poorly ventilated and quite stuffy, making it uncomfortable to dine inside. I’d suggest going for outdoor seating if you visit.

Overall, I wouldn’t really recommend this place. It might satisfy a basic craving, but between the inconsistent food quality and the uncomfortable atmosphere, it’s not a spot I’d rush back to.

The 5 of us ordered stinky tofu, aiyu pearl ice, winter melon pearl milk tea, pineapple pearl milk tea, winter melon hot coffee, and fig tea. Each one was surprisingly delicious! Awesome night market snacks in Vancouver.

Took family to this local Taiwanese restaurant. Loved it, staff was friendly and service was quick. Food was great and we enjoyed ourselves. Street parking was a little difficult based on time of day. Wheelchair accessible ramp up the stairs.

I visited for lunch and ordered the oyster vermicelli soup and pan-fried oyster pancake. The flavors were delicious and authentic, and the service was friendly.
My only suggestion would be to provide a pot of water, garlic, and extra sauce on the side. I felt thirsty during the meal, but the servers were busy, and having additional sauce would let me adjust the taste to my preference.

Found out this restaurant on google maps.
It’s excellent 100% Taiwanese traditional cuisine food.
Feel happy that owner is also from 高雄Kaohsiung. Well done👍🏻
They also provided Spot prawns dishes. ( only during Spot prawn season)
Recommend to people who would like to try delicious Taiwanese food.

Arguably the best Taiwanese cuisine in the lower mainland right now. The food quality, price and portion are all very reasonable. You wouldn't want to miss this place if you like Taiwanese foods.

We stopped by this Taiwanese restaurant in Steveston after shopping for spot prawns. If you’re sensitive to strong spices, it might not be for you — but if not, it’s definitely worth a try! A bit disappointing that they don’t serve beer, but the friendly service made up for it. Thanks for the warm hospitality

The dumplings were quite frankly, a letdown- turned out to be bland, poorly cooked.
