2026.01.29. Want a nice French baguette or croissant? I didn't realize how difficult it would be to find a place to buy a French baguette in Richmond. Croissants, French baguettes and other baked goods available daily in Richmond 0700-1900 by COBS Bread; reachable by public transit bus number 402. Spread some grass fed butter on their bread. Recommended. Credit cards accepted. Loyalty program available.

I like cobbs but the price spike is pretty high for loaf, don’t think I can return at almost $8.00 after tax..

Long time customer no more.

The price increase the just happened is insane. $6.75 for a loaf of sourdough. Each year they gouge you with double digit percentage increase in their prices. Have to look elsewhere for something more sustainable.

goods are cooked well, not burnt or anything but they need to sort out the mini pizzas, they are half the size of any other location i’ve been too and the same price. it’s not supposed to be a fluffy bun it’s supposed to be stretched out, what you’re serving is half the size even showing on the website.not they fixed the pizzas this would be a 5 star review :)

This morning I bought one of my favorite Apricot Delight Log and a cheese n ham croissant for my lunch. The people and the place makes Cob Bread outstanding other bakery.

Go in at 1:30 in afternoon to late to get what you want . Head in at 8:30 an hour and half after open and you’re to early .
I GIVE UP!
Usually stock up about 50-60 dollar order every two weeks .
Happy to say Safeway bakery was totally stocked and got what I was after !

I love cob's. I go every week to get my fresh bread. They have plenty of options, pastries and pizzas. Their staff is very good with customers.
