Rich soup base, taste even better when adding the vinegar garlic mix they offer.

You have to try this place! If you’re staying in the area you will not be disappointed by the amazing food and friendly service. We had the best pho I’ve tasted for dinner and I liked it so much I came back for vermicelli special the next day for lunch. The servers were so pleasant and struck up a conversation on both visits. We’ll be back anytime we’re near the airport.

A hidden gem close to the oval. The short rib pho has a large short rib in it. The broth has an extra sauce-like flavor apart from the standard beef broth. There is a complimentary garlic and vinaigrette sauce for the fish. It is reminiscent of the pickled garlic-chilli carrot and cabbage appetizer found in Chinese restaurants.

Please COM again…

Okay, read it as is in straight English somehow doesn’t sound right. I believe it’s pronounced “gom”? (My Viet friends, stop your caravan, take a break at the nail or hair salon or mushroom farms and correct me if I am wrong, thank you).

I have been here when it was first opened and I wasn’t impressed at all. It was jacked up and hyped up by a few foodies who thinks a turkey is a peacock during the Autumn season.

Anyways, I heard it had gotten better over the years so back to give it a 2nd shot (👀).

Here were the food I ordered;

1. Crab spring rolls. It was okay, nothing to wow about. (Maybe because it became a generic item on the Vietnamese menu, I had better ones).
2. Papaya salad. This one was pretty good; decent amount of each ingredients and the sauce was well balanced.
3. Shaken beef (Bo Luc Lac). The cubed beef were nicely pan fried, tender and caramelized but abit too much oil (as you can see on the pic without me touching it and not enough juicy sauce.. gotta shake that meat more!)
4. Pho Bo. The soup was hot and tasty, the noodle was cooked right but the beef was a bit tough and on the thicker side (beef needs to be sliced thinner, could get choked).
5. Stone bowl pho. The broth was pretty tasty and definitely stayed hot for a long time. I kind of screwed up and dumped everything in all at once (don’t always have time to foreplay with the meat) resulting in certain meats overcooked especially when I am a slow eater. But honestly, besides the stone bowl I didn’t find much difference between this and a bowl of regular pho other than paying more.

Overall, the restaurant was pretty clean with a good amount of spacing between tables. It’s a pretty cozy little space with a casual atmosphere. There’s a free parking garage for customers at the side of the building, make sure to register your parking inside the restaurant.

The service was okay, pretty standard and nothing to complain about. Plus there were only 3 or 4 tables only.

As for the food; the broth for both of the soup were pretty hot and tasty, but meats were a bit on the tougher side, the salad and roll was decent. With that being said, overall it has improved and better than my first visit here. I wouldn’t purposely COM here but if I am in the area I would like to try some of their other dishes.

Large portions, solid quality, nice environment and good cocktails!
Loved the banh xeo! The beef salad was huge too and so much beef.
On the pricier side but very fair considering the portions and tastes!

One of the worst Viet restaurants I’ve ever visited in a while…& the price they charge is just a RIP OFF for what I ordered…& I even have to ask the server for Sriracha & Hoisin sauce as well as basil leaves & bean sprouts, (like this is some kinda additional service they provide the customers with lol, so they can get more tips? )absolutely ridiculous…& the food I ordered didn't taste that good either…Lastly they don’t accept credit card payment which is ridiculous as a restaurant. Definitely not recommending this one!

We had a wonderful family dining experience tonight. The setting is modern and spacious. Food was delicious; we ordered beef pho, spring rolls, fried rice, chicken vermicelli and salad rolls. Service was also great, we would definitely come back!

Since moving to Richmond, I've tried pretty much all of the vietnamese restaurants. Most have been super disappointing, with the exception of three, and this is certainly one of them.
Authentic (very important here, as I am vietnamese myself), with so many delicious dishes and with some items you don't often see in a typical pho restaurant. 👌

There's a lot you can park in for free (just remember to register your license plate!) Cash or debit.

Updated 2025.03.28 Came to check out this Vietnamese restaurant. Our server asked if we have any food allergies. I informed them I disliked raw onions, spicy, cilantro.

We ordered spicy beef noodle, crab spring rolls, vermicelli bowl Special, beef stew, coffee. The food was very tasty.

They accept cash or debit, register your vehicle for 3 hours of free parking.
