BBQ duck is good but it’s too small for the teenagers.

Always delicious and accommodating, good prices. They are located inside yaohan mall, food court. Lots of free parking outside.

Better roasted pork than HK BBQ master in my opinion, less fatty, which is my preference. Sits well in fridge and reheats well. So mouthwatering and delicious!

Delicious duck and tofu.

I’ve eaten here for over 15 years, their BBQ quality is unmatched and the owners are always so kind.

Their bbq duck with noodles is my favourite dish.

Their quality, taste, and friendliness is what will keep me coming for the next 15 years.

That woman was very mean. Today she sold me the leftover duck from yesterday and said it was at a special price. The guy who spoke Cantonese at the back also wanted duck, so she sold it to him fresh. Then my son bought a box of barbecued pork rice. I saw an open lid of rice poured with soy sauce on the counter. A Cantonese-speaking guy in front of me was ordering some new hot rice. When it was my turn, I was given the soy sauce rice. I said no. This only gives me hot rice. I have lived in Guangzhou for more than ten years. I can’t speak Cantonese well, but I still have no problem listening.

Had lunch at this Chinese BBQ stand and the quality is decent. My BBQ pork was a bit burnt on the ends, but alright as a whole.

Some combos come with the soup, so pay attention to the menu, or ask the person tending the shop.

Portion pretty good, and the food court is spacious at Yaohan Centre.

I ordered half a roast duck to take away. When I ate it, I noticed that there were a few large pieces of duck at the bottom that smelled bad. It was probably not the same duck. It was mixed with other broken ducks that had not been sold out. Some of them could only be smelled if they were close to the bones. You can smell it when it smells like meat. It's outrageous.

Was excited to try this place as many had recommended it and couldn’t have been more disappointed. I would give it 0 stars if I could

Roast pork was extremely fatty and half of it was just bones underneath. Dishonest

BBQ pork was okay but was cut into huge pieces and nothing special to write home about.

Datang BBQ Express in Yaohan food court is a must-visit for Hong Kong-style BBQ lovers. Their BBQ pork is excellent, with a perfect balance of sweetness and savory flavors. The roasted pork is exceptional, featuring a crispy skin and tender meat. The roasted duck is also delicious, with rich, succulent flavors. Don’t miss the farm chicken, which is very good and cooked to perfection. The variety and quality of dishes make Datang BBQ Express a standout choice for a satisfying meal.

My family member was there to buy some BBQ pork. When she ordered, she mentioned half fat half lean (半肥瘦 ) pork in Cantonese.I understand this request may not be fulfilled all the time based on availability but what we got was the leanest BBQ pork ever. The meat didn't taste good and it was too hard. One and done. Won't go back again. I definitely do not recommend it to others
