Very good fish and chips place in Steveston Village in Richmond. Fish was seasoned well and not too oily. You also have the option to substitute onion rings or sweet potato fries instead of regular chips.
Clam chowder tasted good but did not get a lot of seafood in it. Service was quick, even though he was by himself.
Would come back again!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Fantastic Experience!
I had an amazing meal at this fish and chips restaurant! Everything we ordered was delicious and fresh. The halibut was perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The calamari was light, flavorful, and not greasy at all. We also tried the crab cakes, which were packed with flavor and cooked beautifully.
The Caesar salad was crisp and well-dressed, and the clam chowder was warm, creamy, and comforting—definitely a must-try!
A special shoutout to our server Kayla, who was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made our dining experience even better. She checked on us often and made great recommendations.
Highly recommend this place if you’re craving quality seafood and great service!

Cute fish & chips restaurant at Stevetson Richmond.
Fish and chips are good👍
Calamari fries are not that fresh.
Servers are kind.
I loved the atmosphere with old neighbor’s gathering and friendly talks sound.
Dare I say the best fish and chips in Steveston. Perfect batter to fish ration, and never too greasy. The fries are perfect and even better with a little vinegar drizzled on top. If you're ordering takeout be sure to use the dedicated takeout door located on the side of the building.
Always great take out!
Fast friendly Service.
A little overpriced on the size of the portion.
Friendly local spot.

Fabulous food, excellent service. Aiden was our server and was friendly and professional.
Trixie was also very polite and friendly.
This will be our go-to for fish n chips
The room area is kind of stale and stuffy. Also the service is no longer as lovely as it used to be. Disappointed!
This is the best fish and chips in Steveston, the guy named Aidan did a great job serving us. 10/10 will definitely come back!

What a great spot to have lunch.
I ordered the 2 piece cod fish and chips and was super pleased. The fish was cooked to perfection and the batter was not super oily or thick. The fries and coleslaw were a great side compliment and were prepared good as well.
You should eat here!

Many stores are closed in winter. This one is the only one standing, so come and have a look.
There aren't many seats inside, but there aren't many people either.
The waiter is very kind and quick to use.
As for the food, I’m not so satisfied🥲:
- Halibut nuggets $8.95: The skin of the fried fish nuggets is thick and hard. It is very hard to eat😅 and it has no taste. It may have been fried for too long and became old.
- Salmon two piece and chips $21.95: The salmon is big but also very dull and tasteless🤔
- Clam chowder $9.95: This one tastes too salty and we need to keep drinking water after a few sips.
- Salad $9.95: The salad dressing was not to our liking and the food was not fresh... there were a lot of soft and rotten vegetables in it so it tasted bitter...
I’m really not satisfied with the food. I suggest you go to Pajo’s next door. We came here because it was closed at the time.

Took an order of fish and chips to my Dad (a retired fisherman) and he was wow'd by the size of the order/fish. He really enjoyed it and that's worthy of five stars.

My girlfriend and I used to come here at least every month, and the food was amazing. Once the ownership changed, not only did the quality of the food drop, the service was laughable. My girlfriend ordered a root beer (the soda) and they forced her to show ID. FOR A SODA. We had to explain to them what a root beer is, and even after all the explanation they continued to ask for ID. They reluctantly brought the drink, and they even ID’d her one more time before finally handing it over. An absolute joke.
