I ordered the 2 piece cod fish and chips and was super pleased. The fish was cooked to perfection and the batter was not super oily or thick. The fries and coleslaw were a great side compliment and were prepared good as well.

Many stores are closed in winter. This one is the only one standing, so come and have a look. There aren't many seats inside, but there aren't many people either. The waiter is very kind and quick to use. As for the food, I’m not so satisfied🥲: - Halibut nuggets $8.95: The skin of the fried fish nuggets is thick and hard. It is very hard to eat😅 and it has no taste. It may have been fried for too long and became old. - Salmon two piece and chips $21.95: The salmon is big but also very dull and tasteless🤔 - Clam chowder $9.95: This one tastes too salty and we need to keep drinking water after a few sips. - Salad $9.95: The salad dressing was not to our liking and the food was not fresh... there were a lot of soft and rotten vegetables in it so it tasted bitter...
I’m really not satisfied with the food. I suggest you go to Pajo’s next door. We came here because it was closed at the time.

My girlfriend and I used to come here at least every month, and the food was amazing. Once the ownership changed, not only did the quality of the food drop, the service was laughable. My girlfriend ordered a root beer (the soda) and they forced her to show ID. FOR A SODA. We had to explain to them what a root beer is, and even after all the explanation they continued to ask for ID. They reluctantly brought the drink, and they even ID’d her one more time before finally handing it over. An absolute joke.

This was some of the best fish & chips restaurant food we’ve ever had! My chicken burger was juicy and delicious and my kids really enjoyed their chicken strips. We all agreed that the chipped potatoes were excellent - crispy on the outside and hot and fluffy on the inside. Definitely worth a visit the next time you’re near by.

Stopped in at Dave's while visiting from the States and had a wonderful, wonderful lunch! The battered cod was absolutely delicious, especially with the provided malt vinegar at the table. Chips were crisp and crunchy, and the slaw served with the platter was some of the best I've had. Meal was good enough to make up for the airline having lost my luggage in transit. Thank you!

I’ve been having fish and chips in many places so far but this one has some special taste in it. It’s also fresh and service is very good. I will bring my family and friends back again.
Just wish to have 2 tartar sauce when two pieces of fish are ordered. Maybe I should ask next time.

Celiac here! I haven’t ate fish & chips in 8 years and Daves fish & chips did not disappoint! Everything was delicious and fresh. Had halibut, salmon, yam fries and coleslaw. We will definitely be back!

Very lackluster food. I was not fond of the calamari batter. It was too thick and crunchy instead of light and crispy. The texture just wasn't right. The chowder seemed uninteresting as well. There were not enough ingredients in the soup and it felt like it was mostly liquid.

Couldn't believe the portions they were fantastic. The food was good value and excellent flavour. Service was quick and efficient, friendly easy going. Great choice for fish. I had the salmon and the others had halibut really enjoyed it.
