Had dim sum here and the food was good, though not the best dim sum I’ve had in Richmond/Vancouver. Service was okay, and the atmosphere was a bit on the loud side, but overall a decent option if you’re looking for dim sum in the area.

2025.Jul.11. Our group of 6 adults thoroughly enjoyed all 4 varieties of pork soup dumplings ( Siu loong baos), but unanimously agreed that the Truffle pork soup dumplings are THE best! Our child loves the Beef wrap + fried screw buns with condensed milk. Yummy + fun to unravel! + ordered fried rice, noodles + 1 dish ; all very delicious & plentiful. And pleasantly the bill was under $170 before gratuity. Our family has found our new go-to place !

Food is consistently SO bland across the menu. Been giving this place chances to fix their recipes and actually use some seasoning, but ends up disappointing each time. Xiaolongbao was extremely bland with little flavor even AFTER dipping in sauce many times. Might be suitable to eat here if you’re recovering from stomach flu due to extreme blandness.

I’ve eaten at both the Richmond and the Robson locations, and feel that the food is better in Richmond.

A decent place to get authentic and delicious Chinese food. I would recommend you book a reservation instead of walking in, as the place can get quite busy.

Service: Good. Servers can communicate in both Chinese and English, so they can accommodate to both Chinese and English speaking people.

Atmosphere: Very busy and it is a little loud. However, I do like how the place is decorated!

Food: I think it was satisfactory! We ordered a variety of dishes, and they were all good. I really recommend getting the spicy wontons and xiaolongbao. A dish I would not recommend is the pig ears: they did not have a lot of flavor.

Overall, great place, just not my personal favorite.

We liked their dim sum from Northern region of China and also the various dishes of their menu. Polite staff and parking is underground. The branch we went was in Richmond at Gilbert Road.

The food here was ok. The xiao long bao was good but the rest were just ok. The shredded pork was a bit too salty in my opinion and the hainanese chicken was way too dry. Also for the price, I felt the portions were somewhat small.

The atmosphere was nice though and service was good. But overall, I've had better and cheaper Chinese food at the Richmond public market.

Just realized I left this place a 5 star review from 6 years ago. I've stopped visiting this place since 2023 as we saw a live mouse running around on the floor during my last visit. We reported to VCH and they confirmed mouse activity. I did notice that VCH did not order a closure so maybe it's inevitable for mice and restaurants?

Terrible. We waited 50+ minutes for a table for two, only to find out the manager gave away our table to another couple, by mistake. She did not tell us the error and did not apologies or offer a solution. She did not own up to her mistake and for wasting our evening. We ended up going to Dumpling King, a much better option, in Terra Nova.

This restaurant is disorganized, mismanaged, and unable to take accountability for their poor management.

Avoid at all costs.
