Ordered Montreal bennies and lobster omelette. The food is tasty and the portion is decent. The price is on the high side though. Good atmosphere and friendly service. Would be fun for a weekend brunch, once in a while.

Eggspectation? More like Eggs-termination of my appetite.

First off, the entrance: one door in, one door out. For a restaurant this size, it felt like I was entering a speakeasy for sad brunches. You’d think a place this big could afford a second door, but nope—bottleneck city.

We got a booth right away, which should’ve been nice, except the host looked like seating us was equivalent to donating a kidney.

The food… wow. The lyonnaise potatoes came out colder than my ex. The sausages? Pretty sure they were 90% salt, 10% regret—one bite and I was instantly dehydrated, like I’d just crawled out of the desert. The only thing worth chewing was the French toast, and even then, it was just “fine.”

The service was where things really went downhill. Our waitress was basically in witness protection—vanished the second we sat down and never returned. No check-in, no “how’s the food,” nothing. When we were done, we sat there for 15 minutes like abandoned puppies. I finally walked up to the host stand, where the host was glued to her phone. I asked if I could pay, and she literally told me, and I quote, “Go sit back down and wait for your waitress.” Not even an attempt to pretend she cared. Just… wow.

And let’s not forget: the whole place felt kind of grimy, like they clean the tables with the same rag they mop the floor with.

Final verdict: Wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy. If you want cold potatoes, salt-lick sausages, and service that makes you question humanity, then sure, give it a try. Otherwise, go anywhere else.

Such a great breakfast place! Restaurant was clean, servers were attentive and the food came quickly and was nice and hot! Good sized omelette, not too big and a nice amount of yummy potatoes.

Eggspect the best at Eggspectation Canada, the restaurant connected to Accent INN next to YVR INTL Airport. Really nice and clean with a high quality bar inside! Cheers!

I come here quite often, food is always good and 90% of the time so is the service

We were seated in a corner and abandoned, no one came until we flagged staff down. Either they do not have enough servers or they are just incompetent. 😞
