First of all I live in LA and have had my share of legit dim sum spot… but this spot is a really solid one.

Didn’t make reservation but they were accommodating us even though they’re fully booked out.

Everything was well made, clean, and good portion for the price. Sure it’s on the pricier side but it was very satisfying… also hands down best Egg Tart I’ve had at a dim sum spot.

I like the bean curd wrap. I had ordered a pastry that described as deep-fried duck and mashed taro pastry. I read that as the duck being deep fried, not the entire pastry as that's not a pastry to me. It was okay but the taro overwhelmed any duck flavour. We were looking for more unique dim sum specials so that was disappointing. Nobody came by to check if we needed anything though, like more tea.

The place opens early in the morning, and overall, the food and atmosphere were great. However, the powder sprinkled on the dish in the photo didn’t have a pleasant texture. It didn’t dissolve in water and felt rough in the mouth, which I didn’t enjoy. Aside from that, all the other dishes were very good.
