We are visiting from the U.S.A. and came here at the recommendation of the hotel manager. Our server, Annabelle was friendly, efficient and patient with the kids. The food was fresh, fantastic and exactly what we were looking for. Lastly, the view over the water made the rest of the experience. Thank you, Flying Beaver Crew!
Awesome food and location is great.
Service was slow but very much expected because it was a busy Saturday evening. Parking is a small hassle but not that bothersome. Food was well worth it
Love this place!! Fun vibe, good food and right on the water for close up views of float planes departing and arriving
It is a hidden gem!!! A little far from us, but easy to go using public transportation: Skytrain and buses .
The service offered by Breanna C was excellent, fast, friendly, courteous and the best, very professional!!
The culinary is very delicious and well presented in generous portions!.
Prices a very affordable and the menu has a great variety of options .
We started with cider and Caesar and appetizer a delicious mushrooms soup . Later we asked an exquisite penne with chorizo and prawns and a Hawaiian pizza .
All was very delicious!!!
It was the first time but for sure not the last.
Probably the worst pizza I’ve ever had, the drinks tasted like syrup and were too sweet. Also the service was super slow even for a Wednesday, a lot of the staff was just wandering around not knowing what to do and neglecting most of the customers.
It was our first time here, and we realized that we missed a lot by not coming sooner. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the food was excellent—high quality with generous portions. A special thanks to Ali and Luca for their friendly service and happy energy. Great people, great vibes—we’ll definitely be back!
After moving away from the Vancouver area, Flying Beaver was one of those restaurants that I missed so much.
It was so nice to revisit and enjoy once again!
We got the fish tacos and blackened chicken. Both were delicious!
I love to watch the seaplanes take off and land while enjoying my time here. Highly recommended!

Service was good, appetizers were ok, main courses were terrible, steak tastes like it had half a cup of salt on it and was barely edible, one of those places where people go for the ambiance and not so much the food I guess

The Flying Beaver is a vibrant restaurant and bar located in a picturesque spot along the Fraser River, offering stunning views of seaplanes taking off and landing right next to the attached terminal. The staff are always friendly, the food is delicious, and there’s a wide selection of drinks to choose from.
With great music and a lively atmosphere, it’s the perfect spot for lunch, dinner, or an evening out. Whether you’re stopping by for a drink, a meal, or a good time with friends, the Flying Beaver delivers on all fronts.

Had the 3 course winter special with Brussels Sprouts, Almond Crusted Salmon, and New York Cheesecake. All tasted delicious. Staff was friendly and attentive.
Vegetarian options: More vegetarian options would be preferred.
Dietary restrictions: More gluten-free options would be preferred.
Parking: Direct parking lot is small but nearby parking lot has plenty of free parking. (Park in un numbered spots on south side of the parking lot.

Food is kinda like pub fare with a hint of flare. They can and do accommodate vegan and vegetarian
➡️HOWEVER, don’t expect any sort of price reduction for removed items like goat cheese etc. and they won’t ADD anything to equalize the price.⬅️
Be precise when order to avoid sadness.
Always very busy.
$7.50 for a beer (sleeve) is a bit much in my opinion. Other drinks are on par for downtown Vancouver pricing.
Staff is what shines here in my opinion.
Thank you.
Watch float planes from your seat, you’re at their port!
Riparian views astound.
