“Food court style Taiwanese takeout. Food was quite good, but had to wait 35minutes for my order. People ordering after me got their food, ate, and left before I received mine. Told it’s coming , I’m next , over and over. Line ups to order was also long. Been here before and usually ended up waiting and waiting.
Parking: Parking in the lot was very difficult, lots of parking available but even more cars waiting. Parkade is available but very tight turns.“

“Cherry’s Icy Bar in Parker Place Richmond is a gem! They serve classic Hong Kong style icy bowls that are simply delightful. The mango cream icy is excellent, bursting with fresh, creamy flavors. Their remarkable watermelon slush milkshake is a must-try, perfectly refreshing and delicious. This spot is ideal for a tasty treat and never disappoints. Highly recommend for anyone craving authentic, refreshing desserts!“

“Parker Good Food at Parker Place is a fantastic choice for a satisfying meal. Their Hong Kong-style curry beef and chicken are excellent, bursting with rich flavors. The BBQ pork on rice is equally delightful. They offer a great lunch special for just $15, making it a terrific value. Plus, the convenience of ordering through the telephone is a real bonus. Friendly service and delicious food make this spot a must-visit in the food court!“

“If you’re looking for the original owner of the Prata-Man Express on Capstan Way, look no further! He’s here!! The owner sold his restaurant 3 years ago due to not being able to find enough staff to accommodate the size, so he humbly has a food stall here at this food court. I hear the restaurant on Capstan Way is no longer what it used to be due to change of ownership.
I prefer this set up as he specializes only in the best dishes, which is the Hainanese chicken rice, the curry beef brisket, roti with curry sauce and the Malaysian milk tea. Sometimes when a menu is too large in size, it diminishes the quality. With having a few items on the menu, you know it’s going to be good!
The taste of the seasoned rice, house soup (full of collagen/creamy fat taste due to the bones from the chicken), and everything else was just perfect. Like old school cooking back from the 80’s. The chicken is tender, and de-boned, so barely any bones you have to deal with. It comes with a generous size of the ginger/green onion dip and sweet chili sauce. They were so kind to cut the takeout box without us even asking so my boyfriend and I could have an extra “plate.” $24 fed us both and we were so full :)
Please note, the Malaysian milk tea does not have pearls, and is served sweet with rock sugar. It has a great balance of tea and floral taste.
The owner is very generous with his portions and is like talking to a relative, and his staff working in the back kitchen work diligently.
Help support this small business and they are worthy of a nice tip! I hope they stay around for a long time.“

“I came to Vancouver from California and ate at this restaurant in the first two days. This is my favorite restaurant in the Public Market. I particularly recommend their fried noodles. I think it is better than the soup noodles. The soup noodles taste a little lighter, but the fried noodles have just the right flavor. The elbow is also good, the portion is large, but not cheap. The proprietress's attitude is also very good. In short, if you like Guilin rice noodles and snail noodles, you must try their fried noodles.“

“The burger bun was crispy and savory, the pork cooked and seasoned to perfection and the biang biang noodles came in the most delicious spicy sauce! Will definitely come back to try the rest of their menu, although it’s not too easy to order in English. Well worth the visit!“

“Repeat customer for over a year, but noticed their portions has significantly reduced. At one point, their pork hock rice could feed two people for dinner. Just returned today and was disappointed at the smaller volume.
Still delicious, but wasn’t as good value as it once was.“

“Very delicious Chinese chives dumplings(韭菜盒子) - extra large in size with al dente wrappings Lam fried. We liked it so much we even bought some frozen ones to enjoy at home. Lots of variations to select from. We saw many people coming in to buy the frozen dumplings this afternoon. Owner speaks English and Mandarin. Very authentic stuff!“

“Its alot of food. Service was good because the portions are big. The workers were very nice. They even want you to eat your vegetables they say. The food tastes great and a good opportunity to have chinese food that not alot of places in Vancouver have. And the great mango is nearby too as well as the asian grocery market.“

“If you find yourself in the Aberdeen food court, you'll probably see a bunch of people ordering chicken wings from this place.
The 6 pc chicken wings is $15.5 (cash only) and comes with perfectly crispy (albeit oily) whole chicken wings. Definitely a must order.“

“Food is steamed, cooked, or pan fried on the spot. There is usually a bit of a wait, but the food is very fresh.
I personally think their dumplings are better than their XLB. Noodles are good, but soups/broths are pretty average.
Scallion pancake is a tad too salty.“

“My husband ordered a few party trays for my daughter's birthday party from Golden Rice Bowl last week.
The food were so delicious. Many guests talked to me about that and asked where the food ordered from.
The party was held in ice skating place. When they delivered the food, the food were still hot. Some guests had the food right away, some had food later after ice skating and the food were still warm. We enjoyed the food there and next time if we have party again, we will definitely order food from them again.
Highly recommended!“

“- One of our family's favorite food stalls at the Aberdeen Centre food court. Over the past year, we've dined here frequently
- These are some of our favorite items available at this stall:
* $15.99 Large Combo A "Lamb Soup." The best lamb soup in GVA! It comes in a big bowl, much bigger than its competitors'. It has lots of ingredients and soup. It's not too salty or heavy. I'd say it's perfect. It also comes with a veggie appetizer and a delicious "Crispy Cake."
* Although the "Crispy Cake" comes with the Lamb Soup, we often buy them separately. A ready-to-eat one costs $3, and frozen ones cost $2.5 each. We buy them frozen and air-fry them at home. They're delicious!
* $12.99 Combo H with 12 lamb dumplings. Deliciously just right. The only complaint with this is that they use paper trays and dumplings get stuck to the tray, often ripping the dumpling and spilling its contents.
- when we first found this place, the female counter staff - presuming she was the owner - can only speak Mandarin. No English. No Cantonese. My Mandarin sucks. Communication between us often lost in translation. Because of this, I only came once in a blue moon. Now, she finally hired someone who speaks fluent Cantonese, Mandarin and English. And she's friendly. Good job!! I come here more and more often now! ???
