Ordered chicken and waffles, pulled pork mac and cheese, and calamari. The fried chicken was the best I've had yet, and the calamari was done well. The Mac and cheese was disappointing, Lack of cheese, tasted watered down -- very lacking in flavor. But, the take-out service was great and the environment is very welcoming and sheek but cozy.

We have been customers at the Richmond location before, but this last visit was unacceptable. We ordered a couple of regular menu dishes and four drinks during happy hour and were only given the discount on two drinks because the others were delivered after 6pm, despite us requesting everything be served together. We were told that two people couldn’t have four drinks on the table at once and that placing the order before the cutoff was considered “pre-ordering.” This is an illogical policy and the manager’s handling of the situation was dismissive and unprofessional. Many restaurants remind and allow their customers to place their final happy hour orders shortly before it ends, even if they won’t finish before the cutoff, so would that be considered as pre-ordering? Happy hour should be honored based on when the order is placed, not when the server decides to bring it out. We will not be returning.

We were lucky to book some reasonable hotel rates on super.com for a queen suite at the Excuetive Hotel. It gave us time to enjoy Free Bird. It was a nice surprise, as the food and service was exceptional. The Chicken Sandwich and fries was outstanding, but I was stoked on their happy hours ribs, succulent, slow cooked, fall off the bone goodness. Excellent beer menu. Highly recommend 👌
Came here for breakfast and was pleasantly surprised with the lovely options presented. The artistry involved with the French Toast dish was completely unexpected and a lovely touch.
