FreshCo at this location can feel pretty disorganized. It’s common to find grocery items placed in the wrong sections, which makes shopping a bit frustrating. The produce section is hit or miss, and the vegetables aren’t always very fresh. Prices are good, but the overall shopping experience could definitely be better.

I used to love coming to this store, but now it's been few times I take strawberry and when I get home, always in the middle of the container there must be a green mold. But groceries are nice and affordable.

You always get a great value on food at Fresh Co

I used to shop here quite regularly but now I will be making less frequent trips. Their prices have increased (especially the discounted day old produce) and their customer service is non existent. I asked the grumpy older lady working self checkout if they had an item in stock. She replied it might be in aisle four or they might not even have it. Other stores I am physically escorted to the aisle and helped out with a smile. It’s unfortunate because this store once had potential.

Lots of selection and rarely out of stock, especially regarding flyer items

Just another chain store location.
Neither positive or negative review. Bland and plain experience.. . . .

Excellent prices, good selection or variety of products in a not too big or busy store!

A hole in the wall location! The upkeep and maintenance of this place is deplorable. There’s a stench of rotting fruit and vegetables when u enter the store shelves are half empty and staff are like whatever attitude. I felt like I was shopping for groceries in another country. The Health Professions Act / Ministry of Health needs to visit this location in particular. The other locations are just ok but it’s not anywhere close to the standards held by Safeway . I had to wash my hands thoroughly when I got home and sanitize.

I’d like to share my recent experience involving your Mission and Richmond locations, in hopes of improving customer service and coordination between stores.

I live in downtown Vancouver, and while returning from Harrison Lake, I stopped at Mission FreshCo and purchased four packages of frozen barbecued fish, which was ready to eat and prepared in another country. When I returned home and opened the fish, it was clearly old — not spoiled or smelly, but simply not fresh in quality. After eating a small amount, both I and my elderly mother felt unwell. Out of caution, I decided to return the remaining packages.

I called the Mission store, and the staff were polite and helpful. I was told that I could return the fish with a receipt to any FreshCo, including the Richmond location. However, when I drove from downtown Vancouver to Richmond FreshCo, I was told they could not accept the return and that I had to return the item to Mission. This forced me to drive more than two hours round trip back to Mission, just to complete the return — which they processed without issue.

I am disappointed with this lack of internal coordination. FreshCo does not have any locations in Vancouver, and many customers drive long distances to shop. When stores give conflicting instructions, it creates a frustrating and costly experience for customers who are trying to follow the rules.

I hope you will review your return policies across locations and ensure your staff are aligned on what is and isn’t acceptable — especially when food quality is involved.

I ordered strawberries on uber eats and one was 5.49 and the other was 9.99. I ordered 2 of the 9 dollar one because I thought the quality would be better. I paid 30 dollars in total. However once I received my product it turns out that the 2 types of strawberries are the same. This is super disappointing as I paid 4 extra dollars just to get the same products

Hit and mis location. Staff are not always good, service is sometimes slow, selection is limited, shelves are sometimes empty. Prices are generally good, however, have increased a lot lately. And the “scene” loyalty program is the worst program in the nation it seems. There’s no point offering a program if you can’t earn points, and the earnings are so meagre that they’re not worth it. Overall, I would choose to go to any other food store that is convenient

I just wanted to let the store + public know how wonderful Pharmacist, George was (Mon.March 31st), when I enquired about Eye Wash Solution which the Store does Not carry. (Only Eye drops) _Well, the dear man went Above and Beyond, gathering Two address locations where I could probably find this solution. _He didn't have to do this. He could have easily simply said, 'No sorry, we don't carry that product'... but No, it showed me just How much He Truly Cares about Freshcos Customers. _Bravo and Many Thanks George. _You saved me a lot of legwork.
It was So Appreciated❣️ Thx again.

I was here around 730 a.m. quiet. Lots of staff stocking the shelves that needed products. Great value for 1L low sugar juices. Came for udon noodles. The prepared dips are a good price.
