During my visit, the cashier ignored me and processed my items as if they belonged to another customer, who seemed to be her acquaintance. The acquaintance then accumulated points on their card using my items. This was clearly intentional, and they both acted as if I wasn’t there. I felt disrespected. Please address this behavior and investigate why this happened, to prevent it in the future.

For any returns/refunds, you have to go back to the original store that you purchased from cause they are franchised. It is such bullsh*t. I bought hummus from their fresh food aisle TODAY that was expired on JANUARY 3, 2025. Yes I am aware that I didnt check the best before date at time of purchase but I figured I can trust them to rotate their stock. I get it if its past 2 days old but it was 2 weeks past the due date. Holy Smokes. The hummus was even fermenting and bubbling. Nothing FRESH about them. I will just stick with Walmart/Save on Foods. UUUGGGGH. 🤮🤢😱 This is for all their stores. The trust is gone.

Quality has decreased while prices have increased. Really miss having Safeway in the neighborhood but will travel to Seafair for better options.

I visit often , because Uncle John & Cousins & Friends in Richmond, Steveston & Vancouver. I need to shop smart and buy my dry goods at FreshCo. when visiting.
