Why was there like no broth ?!?! That’s ridiculous. I’ve never seen such a small amount of broth served before. Chicken and croquette was good. They also forgot the juice box for kids meal. Bad first impression

The ramen was very average and just wasn't flavorful and the portion of meat was very small for the price.

Standard tier ramen. Sides are decent. Wouldn't recommend sashimi here.

One of the best ramens I ever had outside of Japan. They were delicious and original. Bright and casual interior also enhanced the dining experience.

The taste is good, and rice and kimchi are fantastic when you're eating bread. The service is good, and together with beer, it was a pleasant end to the weekend. Thank you!

I feel guilty for taking this long to write a review for this amazing local business, I started going to their original shop on Robson maybe 25+ years ago when it all started as Gyoza King!
Anyways, fast forward to 2024 and I am still amazed at how their business model still keep the feel or a "family run" restaurant where you feel comfortable anytime you go and will be greeted warmly!
First off ... Ramen ... its consistently good! This is not a given nowadays!
A lot of ramen shops has opened in Metro Vancouver area and they come and go, and one of the reason is consistency, when you get a nice bowl of ramen it can be very satisfying experience but when you return and the standard is not there you will not return for a long time. G-Men has been consistent all these times! Soup is piping hot & superb and the noodle always al dente!
Another must order item is their Aij Fry! Super crunchy and meaty, comes with their homemade tartar sauce!
People come to Steveston for Fish & Chips, for me I come for G-Men's Ramen!

GMEN has been my go-to favorite ramen spot in all of Metro Vancouver for over a decade. Before the Steveston location opened I'd go to the other Richmond location but was very happy when the Bayview location opened as it's walking distance from my home. I go there at least a couple times a month however I'm sad to say I will be looking for another place moving forward. Reason being...dispite it being against the law, they allow dogs (non-service) in the dining area and even on chairs and tables. This particular dog also barked literally non-stop for over an hour and nothing was done by staff. The food here is excellent but allowing dogs in restaurants is absolutely unacceptable and as a result I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

A lovely, relaxed spot with a beautiful patio. I stayed past closing time, but the server never rushed me. The food was great, with plenty of options to choose from. (August 2024)

Decent ramen but the broth was on the salty side. For the don, sauce was on the side, so that easier to control. Great service though!

Pretty good ramen. You can either get the more basic one, that's $14.50 (last photo), or if you get the $20.50 one (2nd last photo), you'll get more meat and a full soft boiled egg.
It's on the heart of Steveston so it's very convenient if you're sightseeing and you are craving for some ramen. The rice dish is pretty good as well.
The kids meal is alright at $13, although it would be even better if it's ramen instead of udon.

I found it was a little oilier and saltier but good ramen over all.
Love the atmosphere and very very very clean washroom.
G-men ramen was suggested by my family and once again going on my list of good places to eat!
Menu has lots to chose from, ranging from the tasty shoyu to spicy RCMP bowl. Also great to share their G mega X bowl where they include all toppings for an extra $10.
The place is tiny and cute and service was very attentive. I was always being checked on in case our table needed anything. Would recommend to anyone and will come back!
