A large variety of frozen dim sum, all 100% handmade, are available at a great price. Just take them out of the fridge every morning and steam them, then ready to eat. It would save my time of driving and ordering at restaurants as well as money. It's a great choice to buy frozen dim sum from this store.

A very clean place with a lot of frozen Dimsum choices. A lovely lady helped explained the fillings, what kind of Dimsum is popular with Mandarin and Cantonese speakers, how to steam and or cook them. Would definitely come back for more and this time try other stuff as well. A+++ for customer service

Excellent frozen dim sum! Their large shrimp dumplings (ha gao), shrimp with pork Siu Mai, and large size sticky rice (Lo Mai Gai) are highly recommended. Much cheaper than going to a dim sum restaurant and very delicious.

My go-to place for frozen dim sum. Some items may not be available all the time. Better order ahead or call to confirm.

Gah Lok Dim Sum has been a main stay in our family freezer for decades. I love buying direct from the wholesaler. The dim sum experts in the back are all masters of their craft, having hone their skills, handmaking each dumpling for years. They are a supplier to many supermarkets and restaurants in the Metro Vancouver area.Everything is fantastic here and I love being able to have restaurant quality dim sum in my very home. A personal favourite of mine is the shrimp dumplings and their shrimp siu mai is top tier.

A hidden place for frozen dim sum. They have lots of varieties to choose from. The quality is on the average side, but it’s not bad for the price.I think their xiao long bao can use a bit of improvement, the wrappers were too thick to what I would call XLB. On the other hand their siu mai is not bad. Great for a quick breakfast, you can steam them from frozen. They only accept cash or e-transfers. So prepare yourself beforehand.

We went to their new location in Richmond, behind Ikea, to get the marinated chicken feet (fong jow), but they had none at that time. Aw! Anyway, we bought their frozen pork soup dumplings (suilongbao) and were able to compare them with the ones we had bought from T&T - same price except T&T included steaming paper and had the dumplings separated in a flat tray; Gah Lok had theirs altogether in a plastic bag. Well, we found a lot of other differences. Gah Lok’s dumplings had thicker wrapping, more meat and less soup. So, T&T dumplings won over theirs. It’s a matter of taste.
