Honestly for a food court place I didn’t know what to expect. But it’s pretty good. Had low expectations but the congee and the rice noodles were so well made. The congee wasn’t watery, perfectly flavoured, no shortage of ingredients inside and the rice noodle was very well made. Good QQ and the amount of meat is very good for what you pay. I like to think of this place like Chinese tapas.
the green onion flat bread is a certified bang for your buck. the bread was thick and doughy, like a focaccia/pizza type bread that rises when you squish down on it. the green onion taste wasn’t too prominent and i wish it was a bit saltier maybe? but when you dipped it into the fragrant chili oil that was just a tad salty and coated the pillowy flatbread with slick orange, it was AMAZING and a completely new experience — i definitely recommend as it was the perfect flavour booster. we asked them to warm it up for us, but i still wish it was a bit hotter, i think that would’ve really made it better. otherwise, under 3 dollars for a pretty large and well made green onion flatbread.

Great food at an unbelievable price. The rice rolls are top notch. Goes great with the accompanying peanut/sesame sauce. The meat pies are also really good. We come here often and are never disappointed.

Had a delicious pork rice roll made to order, well worth the wait, loved adding sauces by myself. Pork cabbage pies were also amazing!

This restaurant is located inside Yaohan Centre food court. We decided to eat here as there was a few items that were reasonably priced and looked good.
So we ordered Cold Noodles ($5), Pork Burger ($2.50), Fish Congee ($5), Shrimp Wonton 6pc ($7), Beef Rice Roll & Noodle Combo ($10). Once your food is ready, they have sauces at the front for you to help yourself to. The cold noodle was not bad as the noodles were chewy and paired the vinegar flavour with spicy sauce gave it a good kick. The pork burger was so so as there wasn't much filling. The fish congee was pretty good as it was smooth and thick. The shrimp wonton was good as it was pretty big but for the price, it was alright. The beef rice & noodle combo was pretty filling. The rice roll was steamed perfectly and went well with the hoisin and sesame sauce. This combo came with a side soup that was similar to the soup for the shrimp wonton.
One complaint was that the hot foods were not that hot and were warm at best. Will come back here if we have a craving for rice rolls, congee or cold noodles.

The shrimp rice rolls is recommended.
There were other comments saying that the soy sauce was bland, but it's not it's normal salty soy.
Lots of condiments for your congee, rice rolls or noodles.

The food is good but lacking salt from the natural soy sauce that it usually comes from.
Now it’s just watered down and overly sweet.
I enjoyed eating here before regularly but not as much anymore.
Don’t cheap out on the very important sauce cause rice rolls don’t have much flavor so it’s depending on the delicious soy sauce to pull it all together.

Really good value for food for Richmond and staff was friendly.
Rice rolls between $4-6 and they accept card (rare for Richmond malls 😭).
Vegetarian options: A few options with no meat - plain options no veggies.
Parking: Big parking lot but pretty busy place especially on weekends.

Visited Friday November 22 morning and the rudest young lady served me. She looked like she didn’t want to be working there at all - super pissed off face . I was picking up an order of steamed rice roll and green onion pancake and I needed it in a takeout box and they served it on a plate. They did not ask if it was for dine in or take out when paying so I asked her if I can get the rice roll in a takeout box and she transferred it for me but told me takeout box is $0.50 extra charge so I said sure no problem can I pay by card and she said cash only. I told her I didn’t have cash and she just repeated cash in chinese like she gave no care in the world. I just said sorry I don’t have $0.50 cash on me and she poured the steam rice roll from the takeout box which was already used to the plate again all because I didn’t have $0.50 on hand. For a food court stall isn’t it a given there’s a mix of dine in and take out customers why would you charge extra for takeout anyway? So petty of a woman, won’t visit again. Rice roll was just OK and green onion pancake not great.
