their jasmine pistachio drink had the most perfect balance when it came to the mellow fragrance emulating from the jasmine tea leaves, combined with the soft nuttyness coming from the pistachios, and sprinkled with crunchy pistachio bits that just gave it a bit of texture. the pistachio was not too overpowering, and so was the tea, and it felt like the most rich and yet light tea that you could get if ur craving that. the cheese foam on the top had a slight saltiness that really complemented its sweetness. however its still too sweet at 30%

Visited today for the first time. It is a cute cafe with nice music and solid drinks and snacks.

We tried the mango coconut smoothie and it was not too sweet. Also had the hojicha golden raisin cake which was good even for someone who is not normally a fan of raisins!

The cafe was a bit messy (garbage overflowing and no paper towel in the washroom) and cold, but still a nice enough experience.

My main complaint was the service. I scanned the QR code and became a member when we first arrived. They didn't mention about the rock paper scissors free drink promotion so I wasn't able to try.

When I went down later to order a second drink I asked if I could do the game and explained I just became a member before I bought my mango drink, they said no I needed a special coupon - but didn't explain where I could find it so I gave up.

Then I tried scanning the QR code again and found the coupon and showed them and they said no I had to buy a THIRD drink (!). I had already bought two drinks and cake and had even asked them what I needed to do to do the game and they didn't explain....if I had bought ANOTHER drink and won I would have bought four drinks? It doesn't make any sense. :'(

It was frustrating and disappointing.

Came here while traveling, and a friend recommended Hanlin Tea House. I really liked their desserts — very delicate and well made. You can tell a lot of care goes into them. Overall a great experience.

I’m visiting Vancouver on vacation and a local friend recommended this place to me.
The cakes were really good — small, delicate, and beautifully made. You can tell a lot of care goes into them, and the prices are very reasonable for Vancouver.
I also ordered the mochi matcha drink, which was delicious. The matcha flavor was clean and smooth, and the mochi added a nice chewy texture.
Overall, a great experience. I’d definitely come back again.

The egg tarts were really good, with a crispy crust and smooth filling. My favorite was the taro mochi latte! The taro paste was rich and natural, and the mochi inside was soft and sweet. Everything tasted fresh and well made. I would definitely come back again🥺🫶🏻

Now I understand why my friends keep telling me to try this place, it is so good! Many places can’t make both drinks & pastries taste good, but this place is pretty impressive:) Everything I ordered was a hit 🩷 Love the Mochi Tea Latte, Salted Egg Yolk Cheesecake & Coconut Butter Mochi 🫶🏻🫶🏻
