Most HK cafes I've been to have similar menus and have decent portions. Some do better in certain types of food, but you can't have it all. This place really SUCKS. Food is not fresh, portions are tiny, pricey. Plus we waited so long for our food after being seated. For $20+ it's a complete rip-off. I ordered Baked Seafood on Spaghetti in Cream Sauce (nth fancy, a good old standby). Look at the plate size~ this is greed at its best. SHRIMP STINKS and portions are tiny. The Lemon Iced-Tea tastes exactly like sugar and water (even the powder stuff tastes better). They also had a stinkin attitude and wanted 50 CENTS when my wife asked for a bag, but will take your tip in no time. Be aware that this place is right across from the Richmond Costco (in Best Western Hotel). There is virtually no parking available at the front and it's one-way traffic. Food is not fresh, portions are tiny, service sucks (it even makes Congee Noodle King look good), no parking, and pricey. It makes little sense to come here.

I would say this location is mediocre at its base and has potential to extend past that if the menu was focused a bit more. The Hong Kong Milk Tea was definitely strong, but it was a pathetically small portion and it has way too much milk.
We didn't get a chance to sample all the menu, since we were only there for a snack, but the fries are good though, very crispy.
The pork cutlet was also seasoned quite well and fried decently. The popcorn chicken was unfortunately kind of dry and the oil looked like it needed to be changed.
Not a terrible place, but it could do in a pinch.
It is also connected internally to the Abercorn Hotel/Inn.
Parking: Connected to the hotel.

Hong Kong style cafe with both Chinese and Western foods. It’s located on Bridgeport across from Costco and parking is limited.
Their foods were hits and misses but in generous portion size. Kitchen a bit slow though ladies were very nice and personable.

We had simple pork rice noodle that comes with a drink and pay $3 for soup. Good deal and food tastes very good Hong Kong style

It was super unpalatable. The cream soup had no creamy taste. It felt like flour paste. The puff pastry was just a hand cake. The sandwich bread was over-baked. It was no longer crispy and was completely hard to bite. , lightning protection

In the evening, Qin asked two friends on her left to have dinner. The friends told me to go to the restaurant. It was my first time to go. If you don’t have expectations, you won’t be disappointed. It’s OK! Shiluo has a surprise! I called the left lamb belly pot + 3 side dishes set menu. The lamb belly pot and Kyoto pork chop were delicious. Since the other two dishes were not what I ordered, I thought it was passable! The frozen lemon tea is so-so! The lamb brisket should be served slowly! The waiters have great attitudes! Worth recommending

Pretty good Cha chaan teng in an area where you don't expect it. We went there for brunch before heading to Costco across the street and was surprised at the price and portion of the food. It not the best tasting food around but still pretty good. Parking is bad, especially at dinner time and they can get very busy. The service was also quick and friendly.

Came here for the XO salted egg yoke seafood fried rice. Also had the truffle sui mai. Both were excellent. Planning to go back.

🌟 Happy Hong Kong Restaurant 🌟
I had an amazing dining experience here, all thanks to a last-minute gathering with friends! 🤩 One of my friends flew in from Edmonton, connecting through Vancouver, and we decided to grab a meal before they headed off to Hong Kong. ✈️
This restaurant is inside a hotel, so parking was a breeze with lots of spots available 🚗👍. The food? Absolutely delicious! 🍜🍤 With a huge variety of Hong Kong-style dishes to choose from, there’s something for everyone. 😋 I loved how the flavors reminded me of the authentic tastes of Hong Kong! 🇭🇰
What really stood out was the staff 👏. They were so friendly, constantly coming over to chat and even sharing a few laughs with us 😄. Their warm hospitality made the meal even more enjoyable. ❤️
Another bonus is that there’s no time limit ⏰! Unlike other spots in Richmond, we could take our time and fully enjoy the food and company without feeling rushed. 🕐
All in all, I love this place! 💖 I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a relaxing, authentic Hong Kong dining experience with great food and friendly service. 🍽️🍲

One of my favourite Hong Kong style cafe in Richmond. Very fresh pineapple buns with butter and the French toast was so fresh. Will be back!
