Happy Lamb Hot Pot, Richmond

This place was a scam. Basically I came here for the all you can eat special for $18.99 once I sat down they said it's only for beef and lamb nothing else. Then they said you have to pay $9 extra for the soup base and then $3 extra for the sauce bar.

If you want all you can eat go to their other locations Burnaby Coquitlam and west broadway. Lunch time is $22 and dinner $31 and you get the whole menu and your soup base included along with the hot sauce bar. This Richmond location the staff were very nice and the atmosphere is nice but the value at the other happy lambs is way better.

Wow actually not that good anymore. Used to be quite nice for this location. But the food quality is quite poor now. I would rather go to the Chocho in Aberdeen centre instead or the Burnaby location if I’m there. But bright side is that the ayce meat is now anytime instead of late night. PS they charge $3 for sauce and fruits? Like oranges and canned peaches. Which is fine but it would be nice if they told you upon ordering. Also, they told me if I paid in cash I would get 10% off but we failed to calculate the bill ourselves (even went to BMO across to cash out) that is actually 7% off even if the receipt says 10%. Again, more of a honesty issue. Would have been happy with 7% too just wish their own machine doesn’t print out 10% discount when it’s 7% actually. I would come here if I was desperate and Haidilao and Chocho are full. Otherwise for $10 more you could go to both those places for better quality. Critical review not defamation don’t sue me. 1 star off for lack of integrity in pricing. But 4 stars because it’s most likely owner’s own practice and not the staff.

The staff are very kind. We have the all you can eat beef and lamb. The soup with mushroon was a good choice. Perfect blend with the meat. Have to book ahead online so that you won't have to wait so long. Best to have groups.

Good food good sauce good price overall good quality time spent with family of 3. Without a doubt, 1 of the best hot pot restaurants in the lower mainland. Price of vegetables dishes are half the price of other hot pot places

Since they started their discounts after 1:30pm, occasionally will come here for lunch. Their chinese donut is a must try. Overall with the discount (last time it was 25% off) it is good to try

Amazing food. surprising discovery on the way to toys R us. best hot pot excellent sauce appetizer and dessert bar. Very tasty broths, both spicy and non spicy. Good selection of good quality meat.

Really good Hotpot and while the place was extremely busy we were able to flag waiters or waitresses down.

My go-to for hotpot season!

My family, especially my 3kids enjoy this place so much..my son loves the food & it serves the best ice cream! The server Jay was amazing! He was always attending to our needs. When he knew it was my birthday, he took the initiative to make a birthday cake & get everyone to sing song with the neon Happy Birthday words. It was one of our best meals.
