We had a very enjoyable lunch. A restaurant was quiet. Our server was a delightful woman, and that made it all the more pleasant.
I enjoyed one of the best chicken katsu sandwiches I have had anywhere. Our server did a great job serving even though the restaurant and her station was packed with large tables. It was also very good value.
For a business meeting, perfect location for only coffee and tea or a full service menu. Large enough facility to a more private meeting away from the crowd.
Went for a birthday lunch with friends. Was fairly quiet. Nice place but I guess because of covid and their restaurant having to close due to picketing hotel staff for over a year, that their menu is minimal and expensive compared to in years past. But again, still a decent place to eat, if I even for nostalgia sake.

It was a double date for my wife and I and another couple - dinner and a play at Gateway. The service was excellent - they made sure we were finished in time for the play. The food was very nice - good choices. The location was good for us - within easy walking distance of the Gateway. So I'm very happy that we chose Harold's as the restaurant to meet at for our double date.
Went later in the evening for a couple drinks.
Quiet atmosphere, quick and attentive bartender.

Our table was waiting our arrival, service was fast, our waiter knew the menu and described possibilities so we were informed. The noise level was very low, free. Parking. We will definitely return.
Nice place to have a meal, I like the seafood linguine

We had lunch 2 weeks after they reopened following the strike. I had the fish sandwich and my friend had the fish and chips. Amazing food, the fish was so good, they batter was excellent. Portions were very good. We enjoyed it so much. The chef came out to see if we liked it, we thanked him for his new version.
We came back the following week and brought another friend with us. They had the burgers which were very enjoyable and I tried the katsu chicken burger. I was skeptical but again it was an excellent choice. I would definitely have it again. Great food, Love the menu. Great service! Harold would be so proud!

A typical hotel pub with the sky high prices as well. There are certainly better pubs with a much greater selection of beers and better priced menu in the area. Was much more cozy imho when it was the Thirsty Turtle. The new pub location lacks any real feeling of coziness. Could use a bit of privacy by adding large plants etc. Staff are friendly.

I was pleasantly surprised by the food, service and general atmosphere at Harold's after a long day of travel. Plenty of comfortable seating or if you prefer, dining at the bar is nice for travelers that want to eat quickly or are eating alone. My Teriyaki Rice Bowl with very fresh vegetables and delicious chicken hit the spot!
