Second time going to this restaurant really enjoyed myself love the Tomahawk steak the bone marrow a broccolini. All the food here is super delicious no complaints service was great very friendly staff and really treated my kid with great.. all the staff loved them and call them a cutie pie. Will definitely be coming back here for family get togethers and events

The food was good! The service needs more attention; for an upscale restaurant, servers should be more aware of the needs of the customers. Training of the servers is necessary. Knowledge of own menu including wine is a must. A fancy restaurant in Richmond is welcome but service has to keep up with it!

First time at Hestia, was recommended by a few friends. Our server Thomas was very attentive and very thorough with explaining the menu items. Received a complimentary cheesecake for my birthday celebration! Would highly recommend and we will definitely return

Environment and staffs are pleasant. Truffle crab salad was good. Wagyu carpaccio was standard. New york strip + foie gras + lobster tail + bone marrow was not good. Steak too thin. Temperature and tenderness is spot on, but steak was gray with no sear due to thinness. Lobster tail overdone, dry and too salty. Cheesecake was standard but there was only a small spoon of compote.

I don't normally write negative reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience as a warning to future patrons. The service issues began immediately upon arrival. There was no host at the entrance, and despite having an advance reservation, we waited 15 minutes to be seated. The service continued to be problematic. It took 20 minutes for a waiter to approach our table and take our order, without first offering drinks. Regarding the food, it was a mixed experience. The appetizers and small plates were quite good. However, the short rib was too fatty (our friends returned their plate). Portions are a good size and prices seem fair. The evening concluded with another service issue: the waiter insisted he could only split the bill evenly among our party of three couples. This was an issue as one couple ordered significantly less food, making an even split unfair.

Hestia is good, wonderful service team, the ambiance is good, drink menu is robust, focused food menu, and there is something to like in every dish. Though it feels like each dish had something that needs to be rethought. The shortrib + fois grais was too rich and could use more potato, the wagyu bolognese flavour was delicious but overall too watery to be a proper bolognese, the garlic prawn starter is well balanced and beautifully plated but the shrimp were a bit overcooked, the mushrooms were perfect and the best dish of the night. Hestia's food could be better than Earls/Cactus but for now it is the same level.

What a lovely evening. This is my third time back to this gem. The recommendations by our server were spot on. We enjoyed the Crab and Prawn Linguini, the Scallop and Thai Prawn Risotto, and the 10 oz NY striploin with a side of broccolini. All dishes were generously portioned and so tasty. We will be back.

Good service. Nice atmosphere for friend group gatherings. Spacious seating. Parking availability. Clean washrooms. Food was reasonably priced and portions were good.

It was clear right away that they were understaffed. She did her best but there was only one server. It took about 20 minutes after being seated till we were asked if we wanted drinks. Food was overpriced. Carpaccio was clearly frozen and then piled with wilted greens. The spicy miso jumbo prawns were bland, and not spicy. We left after appetizers due to the lack of service and low quality of the food.

Ethan killed it with the service. Food was delicious. Would come back! Thanks!!

Some of the best food I've ever had. Thomas and Ethan went out of their way to tell my friend and I all of the best things on the menu and guide us to the dishes that were best for us. I myself got the Steak and Bone Marrow and was completely floored by it. Will definitely be back and would absolutely recommend to anyone.

This was my fourth time being here! The food is great as always. Price is reasonable, and the service is excellent. Ethan and Chloe were the stars of the day. Crab and prawn linguini never disappoints me. We also had a three course lunch, and Ethan treated us an extra ice cream which made our day with extra bit of sweetness! An amazing place to spend time with family and friends!!
