Beautiful, clean shop. Smelt amazing in there. Friendly service, answered my questions and the drink was made quickly. Wasn’t too sweet and tasted fresh!
Heytea is one of my favorite shop now!🥭🍇 The mango and grape drinks are fresh, sweet, and refreshing. Their matcha drinks are also very popular and definitely worth trying. I usually order online since it’s quick and easy, plus they sometimes have nice promotions. Highly recommend!
You guys really need to work on training your employees! Last night, I was standing in front of the counter for several minutes waiting to be acknowledged. The employees were so focused on their conversation that they didn’t even notice me. I eventually had to approach them myself, and after saying “hello” several times, I was finally acknowledged.
This is not the first time I’ve had issues—your customer service really needs improvement. The last time I ordered a Kale drink with no ice, I still got it with ice. When I mentioned it to the employee, instead of saying, “Sorry, I’ll remake your drink,” their response was dismissive. the guy with the glasses said “给我,把冰去掉,直接加原汁就好。” loud and clear, like wow?
The supervisor Jolin was terrible. Bad customer service. I was asking a few questions about my drink and she was very impatient. That made me feel bad already. But I think maybe her mood so I stop thinking about it. But then the drink came, and it completely different from what I ordered. I asked her why the cup look different from what I usually order but she said that the one. And I have a sip, it’s different. I told her this is not right but she kept saying “You ordered it”.
I told her again like no I don’t want this, I want what I always get. Then another girl Minny came out and solved the problem much better. Instead of staring and blaming on me like Jolin, Minny solved it in a much better way. She simply rufund me the wrong one, and charged me for the correct one.
I came to Heytea very often, normally I have pretty decent service EXCEPT today. I used to come here 3 times a week, and also brought many friends here. I like HeyTea but if their customers service is like today then I will switch to different brand. I will leave 1 star for now and might change it if I get a better experience next time.
If you are cocky or impatient, you should work in the back or making drinks, not at the cashier. There is only 1 cashier at the time and that person should have good energy. 👍🏻
The tea may be very good, but you can’t easily get me to pay an upwards of $9 for tea next time

Fast and nice staff
I came to purchase the buy 1 get 1 free deal yesterday. I understand with a promotion going on, it’ll be extra busy and the extended wait times. What I have an issue with is the service provided by the staff. I had entered the store and placed my order at 5:02PM, and I had waited until 5:28PM still with no drink. Everyone stopped working and just….. started leaving one by one. Finally, we asked what was happening and finally a staff member just casually mentioned they had run out of the sago. No apologies, no emotion. Just ran out and offered no solution. We had to ask AGAIN how long it would be and we had to wait an extra hour and a half. Also, please explain to me why is it acceptable that an order number that came later than me had received their drinks WAY before me and did not run into the problem of running out of sago as I did? What is the point of replying to all these google reviews saying you’ll improve your service when nothing has changed lmao. I’ve been to this location multiple times since opening and not a single thing has been better. Wait times when it’s slow is still 30 mins+, let alone a promotion day. Service from the staff sucks on a slow day and promotion day. Lastly, to the girl who processed my refund; I’m speaking English with the staff, why would you assume I can speak mandarin? Do better, Hey Tea Richmond. I love your drinks but your staff is trash.
I ordered buy 1 get 1 free drink and the wait time was like 30-40mins but the worker who took our order did not mention! Also the number after us was ready before us, and I asked the worker, he said because the colleage off work so they messed up( no clue what excuse is this). Then they suddenly stop working on the drink and I was standing waiting and no one is say anything to us. So I asked them why, then they said the sago is out of stock and If i can have the drink without sago, and I said no, so the lady was like then need to wait for 1.5 hr!!!!! I want to know whay not do the drink by order!? and why no one is saying they dont have the sago anymore until I ask why they stop working !? and also no attitude of any apologies or sorry, and no emotion.
Love the jasmine matcha and the mango coconut boom! Really love that you can taste the tea flavors!
really cool place! we waited like 30 minutes for our drink…. but i got the brown sugar milk tea deluxe or something like that. i don’t really liked the foam and i think it would be so much better without the foam. nice place but it is really busy

Ordered online and the estimated time was 12 minutes. I arrived 15 minutes later to the store and had to wait ANOTHER 45 minutes while they prioritized orders that came in after mine… it’s literally a linear numbering system and they should make it in order, yet they made 8 drinks that had numbers after mine…asked staff about my order multiple times and was just told it’s not ready, no apologies and no time frame given
The service here from yesterday was extremely disappointing. The girl had a very poor attitude — when I asked her questions, she barely responded, and the order took a long time to wait. With so many great options in Vancouver, there’s no reason to come back to a place that treats customers this way. Definitely not returning.
The drinks are good and most of the staff provide great service. However, I had an unpleasant experience with one staff member. I ordered a drink during a promotion and I understand that the wait time could be longer, I ended up waiting for 40 minutes. Since my lunch break was over, I politely asked if there was any way to get my drink a bit earlier. Two staff members helped me to ask the person making the drinks (forgot his name is John or Josh?), but he refused. I fully understand there are SOPs in place, but I feel his response could have been handled in a better way. Unfortunately, his attitude came across as quite unprofessional.
Be prepared to wait an hour for your drink order. They are not staffed adequately to handle the BOGO promos. Why is one person in charge of putting on the toppings, wiping the cups, AND giving out the finished drinks?
