We came at lunch, it's packed, but we managed to get table. Ordered roasted pork and roasted duck. Very delicious. The crews and the owner so friendly. Love it!!

Take out:

Food: Got the Cha Siu and duck.
The Cha siu was tender, tasted like pork and lots of flavor. Portion was good.
I'm comparing this to many bbq places in Toronto and GTA. Over here, the meat doesn't have any meat flavor bc of poor quality and portions are small.

Service: Very typical HK. Vulgar, fast pace but no ill intentions.

Atmosphere: it's in a underground parking lot. Enough said.

I ordered only the roast pork, as it was my first visit and this is my favourite BBQ dish. I came here because of the strong Google reviews, and this review is based purely on my personal taste. For me, the meat was on the salty side, with a flavour that felt a bit too simple and lacking texture. However, the highlight was definitely the skin — extremely crispy, with a melt-in-your-mouth feel afterward. I would say it’s the best roast pork skin I’ve tried in the Greater Vancouver area.

Friendly service. The roasted duck is delicious. Don’t miss the daily soup — lots of ingredients and great flavor. I come here often and will definitely be back.

I went to HK BBQ Master in Richmond craving something bold and delicious and it did not disappoint. The moment I walked in I could smell all the rich, smoky aromas that make BBQ feel real — like the kind of food you remember long after the meal is over. I ordered a mix of their BBQ meats and sides and every bite was juicy, well-seasoned, and satisfying in a way that made me smile with every mouthful. The staff were friendly and moved quickly even though the place was busy, which made the whole dinner feel relaxed and easy instead of rushed. By the end of the meal I was full, happy, and already thinking about the next time I can go back for more. If you want bold barbecue flavour and a laid-back spot in Richmond to enjoy it, this is a great choice.

Delicious and tender bbq meat. The roasted pork was crispy and yummy! It matches the standard of roasted meats in HK or even better!
I came here at 11:20 on a weekday. Half of the restaurant was still empty. By the time, I finished at around 12 noon. It was full and a line was starting to form.
Service was very prompt and my food came out in a minute. Cash only.

I went to HK BBQ Master and I had a fun time trying their Cantonese barbecue. The BBQ pork was juicy and sweet, the roast pork had crunchy skin that made me smile, and the soy sauce chicken was soft and tasty. I liked how fast they served the food even though lots of people were there. The place is small but feels busy and happy with people eating good food. I also liked the rice that came with my meat because it soaked up all the yummy sauces. Next time I want to try the BBQ duck because I heard it’s really good too. I felt full and happy after eating here and I think lots of people would like this place if they like Chinese BBQ!

Best BBQ pork (char Siu) and roasted pork in town, roasted duck as well. Chicken is average. Dine in set up is efficient with tight seating. Ambience is so so.

This Cantonese BBQ shop is easily one of the most well-known and high-quality spots in the Vancouver area. Their roasted pork is especially outstanding. I’ve tried several times to buy their poached chicken and soy sauce chicken, but they’re always sold out. So if you need it for an important gathering or plan to pick up takeaway with friends, make sure to order ahead or go early.

CASH ONLY. Popular well known Chinese BBQ meats shop. It is kinda hidden away under Superstore and the entrance is in the parking lot. This place has a great vibe with memories of Asian food shops. There usually is a line-up for the food (there is a fairly quick turnover of tables). Prices are reasonable. The BBQ pork is really delicious and tender. One great feature of this location is plentiful free parking on the property including outside; and there is busy prime covered spots for rainy or snowy days. For a small shop the washroom is clean and very nicely decorated. This is a very efficiently run and busy eatery.
