The meats where Primo! But that brisket took it all the smoked beans pretty nice even better because they got some meat in there aswell! The ribs where alright a bit dry, but that brisket though! Now that's what I'm talking about! And this is the reason I'm giving them 5 stars! The BBQ sauce used was a tad bit sweet but still nice! One thing though you guys needs add some meat dipping sauces different kinds BBQ sauces and a smoked mustard! But solid food and will be ordering again!

Great food. The sides are a small for $9 each. (2 cupcakes of cornbread -$9, pound for pound the most expensive bread in town) the meat was phenomenal. The server was wonderful. Worth the 30 min drive.

Really bad service, I had to go inside and pay as they didn't checked for a long time. Extremely salty wings with way too much pepper. I didn't like the ribs either, to be honest.

Feeling like I've missed out terribly by not being here sooner. The food is great but I knew we were in for a great night when I saw the beer list. Any business curating their beer list as well as here is going to be fantastic. I was blown away by the beverages, food, and service. We will be back and will bring everyone we can.

It's a smoked meat restaurant with what you'd expect. It's delicious and decent size portion for what we ordered (the Johnson plate). Decent BBQ sauce, definitely Carolina style because of the vinegar, not my thing but it's pretty good. I prefer Memphis or Texan, more smoke and mesquite. Nonetheless, nice meat, nice pork, nice all around flavour. We took takeout and it was easy to transport. Restaurant definitely needs wetnaps for takeout customers, especially if my only tip option starts at 15%, which even with takeout I do. I hope the kitchen gets a decent tip out on takeout orders. The sides were okay, nothing to write home about, but they are sides for a reason. The cornbread and the coleslaw are what we had. Again, I'm here for the smoked meat.
Also please note portion was bigger, I was just ravenous.
Had the Monster burger tonight and omg best of both worlds. BBQ brisket, pulled pork, meat patty, bacon, cheese and coleslaw on the burger !! Best in town burger so far. Next time I’m ordering the Jurassic platter to try the full bbq experience. Excellent menu and we were served by no less than 4 great people for awesome service. 100% going back !

Extremely disappointed about my recent visit. I ordered the Big Johnson Platter (supposed to be BIG), but was surprised by how small the portion is. Food taste is subpar to be the best. Overall, thumbs down!
