Not only was the food disappointing, waiter was extremely rude. On top of that, only accepts cash, which we have reported to the CRA.

We enjoyed a HK style breakfast. We had the omelette with chicken, French toast, macaroni in soup with ham, and a cup of almond milk.
I think that the omelette would taste better with cream, and the rest were fine.
Lots of parking here as the mall isn't super busy.

Food is bland. Interior is dated. Cutlery was not included with my takeaway.

The order was late delivered, not sure if they missed it or not, waitress were busy to follow my order and eventually food was delivered after 30 min.
Hong Kong Flavor Restaurant in Richmond delivers a genuine and satisfying Hong Kong-style dining experience that keeps you coming back. Located along Number 3 Road, it’s a favorite among locals looking for a classic cha chaan teng meal with comforting portions, quick service, and that unmistakable nostalgic flair.
The menu is extensive, offering everything from baked rice and spaghetti with creamy sauces to traditional rice plates, noodle soups, and set dinners. One highlight is their baked dishes, especially the baked pork chop on rice — the cheese and tomato sauce are rich, and the pork is tender and flavorful. The lobster bisque soup, which comes with some of their set meals, is surprisingly luxurious and a customer favorite.
The drinks are also worth mentioning. Their Hong Kong-style milk tea is bold and silky, and the lemon tea is refreshing with the perfect balance of sweet and tart. Portion sizes are generous, and prices are fair considering the quality and variety.
The dining space is clean and spacious, with booths and large tables that accommodate both individuals and families comfortably. Service is quick and efficient — staff are polite and attentive, ensuring water is refilled and dishes arrive hot and fresh.
During busy lunch or dinner hours, expect a short wait, but it usually moves fast. Whether you’re craving comfort food or just want a filling, reasonably priced meal in a relaxed setting, Hong Kong Flavor Restaurant hits the mark. It’s a dependable choice for casual, hearty Cantonese dining in Richmond.
I was very much disappointed with the 3 items mix and match meal. The portion is small overall compared to the other Hong Kong style restaurants, they give flavoured margarine instead of tar tar sauce for the fried fish, the corn is starchy and not sweet at all, the garlic bread tastes weird with no garlic taste at all, and for some reason the Russian borscht soup has some sort of meat fat in it...also, the puff pastry cream soup took forever to come. I will not come back.
A random waitress here is forcing the customers to tip her, even though she is not the one who served us. Extremely bad serving attitudes. Only paid by debit card and cash.
I live for HK breakfast. Vancouver is spoiled with legit choices and very lucky. This place opens nice and early so you can avoid crowds. The place is clean and the food is flavorful. I had the pork chop and pineapple bun which hit the spot. The pineapple bun comes out toasted and has some light crunch to it. The iced HK milk tea is a generous portion and tasty! Cash or debit only but TD bank is next door.
Good Hong Kong Cafe. Easy parking. Good Food for the price. Good Milk Tea, very important! Service not too warm but fast is good . Over all 4 star, will come back often.

There is a minimum charge/order for every customer.
Breakfast was not available, it was expensive, and it wasn't delicious. I didn't want to make it. Prepare your own beef satay, ham pasta, scrambled eggs in the house... You can have a good meal in this restaurant. If this restaurant were in Hong Kong, no one would eat their breakfast.
Hong Kong-style lemon tea is just like milk tea. Dry-fried beef river, fried rice...these foods are just average.

It was a late night, came with my family for dinner. The chicken skewer and Borsch is really good. The mashed potato complements the steak and black pepper sauce.
I will return again

Don’t go! Food is OK. But compare with the price, the quantity is little. Customer service is bad. They will not let you go if you did not pay “enough” tips.
