We visit the buffet quite often, found I can make reservations with 4 people as needed 6 before, that was great as we always worry a long line up. Staff are friendly as always. Food was great and selection is reasonable at this price point.
Great view . Server was good . Food was hit n miss. Sushi n rolls made right befor you, great loved then . Some of the food meanto be hot was cool. Not like it used to be to be ...
For a table of 6 they charge you an additional $50 service fee Our bill was $354 So not worth it and the food quality is not worth the price We could have gone else where for what we paid and get a way better meal than at the Rock !
Great food and amazing crews! Our big group had an amazing Father's Day celebration. Thank you to all of you ❤️.
We enjoyed our lunch and it was great for senior rate. Food quality and flavours were adequate and we were all full. Soups and desserts were the best parts. Limited seafood offerings, only salmon and basa on the steam tables but there was roast beef and ham. No sushi/shrimp/mussels/ clams like there used to be which was disappointing but keeps costs low.
We use to love to eat at the River rock Buffet but this time for how much we paid its not worth it😟
We have been here many times...it's always fine! The one thing that is always great is the service we get from Karim...kudos to Karim!
The food was very mediocre. For the price we paid—$53.99 per person, plus an automatic 18% gratuity—we expected a much better selection and significantly higher quality. Unfortunately, the offerings were limited, and nothing we tried stood out as particularly flavorful or memorable. Several dishes tasted bland or seemed like they had been sitting out too long, lacking freshness and proper seasoning. For a restaurant charging premium buffet prices, we anticipated a more refined experience, both in terms of taste and variety. Overall, we left feeling disappointed and underwhelmed. This was far from the elevated dining experience the price point suggested, and we won't be returning and will not recommend this place to anybody.
I recently visited The Buffet for the first time after hearing many great things and seeing impressive photos online. Unfortunately, the experience didn't quite live up to the expectations, especially at the $50 price point. The food selection felt limited, and several items didn't meet the quality I had hoped for. The chow mein was dry, and the ham was also on the dry side. The roast beef was okay, but not particularly memorable. While the Chinese beef dish was quite good, the pineapple pork (I believe that's what it was) was a bit tough. The sushi section was average — not bad, but nothing exceptional. One issue that stood out was the cleanliness of the serving utensils. Some were greasy and unclean. I politely asked a kitchen staff member to replace the serving spoon for the salmon dish, but the response I received was unexpectedly rude, which took away from the overall dining experience. Additionally, I felt the soup station could benefit from a better presentation and placement. It seemed tucked awkwardly into a corner of the Chinese station, making it less inviting and difficult to access. That said, I want to commend the dining servers, who were polite, respectful, and accommodating throughout the meal. Their professionalism stood out and was genuinely appreciated. But, I was turned off by the dining utensils, as some of the forks provided were unusually small. Please know that no offense is intended — this is simply honest, constructive feedback. I genuinely looked forward to trying The Buffet and wanted to enjoy it, but it fell short of what I expected based on the reputation and photos. I hope this feedback can be helpful in making future improvements.

The buffet at the River Rock is not as good as it used to be. The food was just mid, and there wasn't a lot of selection (except for desserts). And now they are charging $4 for milk and juices. I take my mom here every year for Mother's Day but we may consider going somewhere next year...
I was expecting seafood as it advertised on line and at the resort. There really wasn't any to speak of: there was cold prawns & cold muscles/clams, deep fried squid & seafood fried rice. For $45 I would expect more hot choices. The food was good but not outstanding. The service, however, was excellent.
My family and friends were the for a 60 th Birthday Lunch we were all very disappointed with the food .The guy doing the omellette station did seem to like his job very much the baron of beef was cold ,over all we will not be going back there for the price we payed .
For the price I thought the food would be amazing. The roast was flavorless. The chicken dry. For Easter weekend the selection was lacking
Overall is good. The shrimps are so sweet & tasty. The desserts are good too not so sweet. Also, have my favourite chocolate ice cream. The waiter & waitress are polite & nice too.
