i’ve only tried the shanghai fog so far but it was amazing!! I LOVE the jasmine tea in ice cream, it’s definitely a taste changer. the flavours are well balanced and not too sweet. unfortunately they don’t offer samples but i do recommend trying the shanghai fog, especially if you’re open to tasting slightly floral notes. can’t wait to try the other flavours!

Initially I loved it here with its Asian inspired flavours. However, after two consecutive times I found myself disappointed with its faint flavours. Since they don't do samples, we found ourselves walking away disappointed in our choices and their taste and quality. I'm disappointed that the owner only responds to bad customer service by firing/disciplining their staff. But does not hold themselves accountable with suggestions for the establishment. I no longer recommend J Squared

Every month brings a new, exciting flavor to try, but if you find a favorite, stock up on and savour it while you can—it might not return until next season! I’m especially obsessed with their jackfruit, a winter treat, and their Vietnamese Coffee, my go-to every summer. Both are worth the wait! Just a heads-up—there’s no seating area, so it’s best for a quick stop or a treat on the go!

There’s no indoor space to enjoy the ice cream, but there are many benches around the plaza outside.
Price is on par with other artisanal ice cream shops in the Lower Mainland.
Yummy spot to get ice cream in richmond! Love the Asian inspired flavours. We got Thai milk tea and dirty Oreo. The flavours are strong and very present! We wish there was seating inside since it’s cold out so we stood outside with our ice cream. More flavours would be awesome too but we were happy with our choices!

Really good chinese flavors ice cream! Most of them were tea flavored went I went. Tried 3 of them: black sesame, oolong and thai milk tea. All of them were really good! Usually tea ice creams are either too weak in flavor or too strng leaving a bitter aftertaste. These were perfect! Had a good amount of tea flavor but still creamy and with no bitterness!

Found this shop while looking for tea-flavoured ice cream in Richmond. It was well worth the 12 pm (noon) visit because you get to try different flavours other than matcha ice cream. The staff recommended the Shanghai Fog and Japanese black sesame, which I got as a double scoop for my friend. I loved the roasted oolong milk tea ice cream.
