Decent bakery. Has some unique flavours/pastries apart from HK bakery staples. Craftsmanship is not consistent. Sometimes the filling in the bun is evenly distributed other times it’s squished to one side.

The bakery run by old HK has obvious discrimination against those who speak Mandarin. The service attitude is so bad. I wish I could communicate with them directly in English. They are slow to pay and have a very good attitude towards speaking Cantonese. The breads are very small and the cakes are made overnight. I will not go there again.

Visited this bakery recently and found it to be a good place with delicious pastries. However, the customer service left much to be desired. Even though they weren’t busy, the staff seemed to ignore customers. Overall, it was a mixed experience.

Bought a cream bun and a crabmeat&corn bun. the layer of crepe on top of the cream bun is very doughy and bread is hard. crabmeat&corn was even worse , bread is hard , corn were so hard and dry felt like i was eating pumpkin seeds. barely any imitation crab meat. Highly recommend to go saint germain / kam do instead.

Ordered a 6 inch chestnut cake from Janice and the overall quality went down a lot compared to before. Just a heads up, the chestnut cake only has one layer of chestnut filling although the individual slices in the display have two layers. The cake also lacks flavor, especially the chestnut filling.

Cakes got worse, whipped cream wasn’t mixed well so the matcha mouse was chunky, corn bun wasn’t fresh and very dry with hard corn, fruit cake seemed to have been there way too long. Stuff just isn’t fresh here find some other place like La Patsserie or Maxims for similar price and products that are fresher.
