"Flavorful Fusion Delight at Japadog: A Must-Try Food Truck!" If you're looking for a unique culinary experience that combines the best of Japanese and American flavors, Japadog's food truck is a hidden gem you won't want to miss. From the moment I approached the vibrant truck, I could smell the sizzling hotdogs and teriyaki-infused aromas that promised a delightful treat. The menu at Japadog is a harmonious blend of Japanese ingredients and classic American hotdogs. I decided to try their signature "Kurobuta Terimayo" hotdog, which features a juicy, high-quality Kurobuta pork sausage nestled within a fluffy, slightly sweet bun. The addition of their secret teriyaki sauce, Japanese mayo, and seaweed sprinkles created a medley of savory, sweet, and umami flavors that danced on my taste buds. Each bite was a delightful journey of taste and texture. For those seeking a spicy kick, the "Spicy Cheese Terimayo" is a fantastic choice. The hotdog is generously covered in spicy jalapeños, rich cheese, and their famous teriyaki sauce, offering a perfect balance of heat and creamy goodness. Japadog also caters to vegetarians with their "Vege Terimayo," a plant-based dog topped with the same delectable teriyaki sauce and Japanese mayo. The flavor profile of this hotdog was surprising and refreshing, making it a standout option for non-meat eaters. Aside from their fantastic hotdogs, Japadog offers sides like crispy shaked fries and unique drinks such as the refreshing yuzu lemonade. The service was speedy, and the staff was friendly, adding to the overall enjoyable experience. Japadog is a testament to how culinary fusion can create exceptional flavors. Their ability to infuse traditional American fast food with Japanese influences is nothing short of impressive. I left the food truck with a contented belly and a newfound appreciation for the art of gastronomic fusion. If you're in the mood for something out of the ordinary and absolutely delicious, make sure to track down Japadog. It's a food truck that truly knows how to turn an ordinary hotdog into an extraordinary dining experience.

Everything we heard it was. Plus the dog has a snap to the casing, which is something most regional dogs ignore.

I have always enjoyed eating japadog until today when we bought it and found that the bread was full of green mold. I'm worried about their food safety. Every loaf has green mold on it. By the time I found the green mold, my husband had already eaten the whole hot dog, and so had my daughter. I didn't realize it was on the bread until I was halfway through.

If you like Asian inspired foods this place delivers a great twist on a traditional classic look no further. I got the number 1 original with shots butter fries. The hot dog is pork which is really tasty and the toppings are great additions.

I told the guys twice... TWICE no onions. I never saw him tell the cook either not to add onioms . And he served me the onions to my surprise. Botj dont seem to speak nor understand customer customation on the hot dogs. No wonder why they got three stars...

It’s honestly a quick eat spot, nothing amazing about this hot dog tho. They could add maybe pickle, onion or more garnish to spice it up.

The combination of Japanese ingredient and American-style hot dog is attractive. However, the price is a little bit high. The portion is perfect if you only wanna grab some food for late lunch/ early dinner.

Hotdog with a Japanese twist, my sister loves this place so had to try it out. We got #1 Kurobuta Terimayo and #6 Wagyu Beef Terimayo. My husband and I both like #1 better since pork tasted a little more unique. #6 had the typical hot dog taste so nothing too special, although the hot dog itself tasted good. It didn't taste like cheap sausage lol It's more filling than it looks, great mid-day or late night snack though! They only accept card btw.

While I normally love Japadog, today's experience was very disappointing. The fryer was broken so I couldn't order the fries, and since they don't accept cash and their card reader didn't work, they just threw out my hot dog. Not sure why they kept taking orders when the next customer's transaction failed too. I would rather have made this complaint through their website privately but there's no email or contact like that.
