I recently visited Jjang Korea BBQ in Richmond, and their bargain lunch special is an absolute steal! The Korean fried chicken is crispy and flavorful—definitely one of the best I’ve had. Their kimchi and potato sides are outstanding, perfectly complementing the meal. The beef is tender, well-seasoned, and cooked to perfection. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting, making it a great spot to enjoy a chill lunch. Free parking adds to the convenience, which is always a bonus in Richmond. Overall, Jjang Korea BBQ offers incredible value without compromising on quality. Highly recommend for anyone craving authentic Korean BBQ!

Their lunch specials were good. I got the pepper beef bowl and it was good but the pepper was way too powerful for my liking. Overall a great lunch spot and atmosphere.

I recently visited JJang for the first time, and the staff were really nice. The Korean BBQ was yummy, and their combo menus are very reasonably priced. I would definitely come back!

Very friendly service, meat quality of the combo was pretty bad. But seafood pancakes, banchan and scallops were good.
Cold noodles was not great either, would not recommend.

Restaurantji Recommends
My partner and I visited Jjang for some Korean BBQ. We ordered the pork bone soup to start, alongside a couple of barbeque items. The thinly sliced beef belly and black pepper beef fillet were both delicious and Jjang was very generous with the amount of meat we were served. The service and food were exceptional, and we were super full at the end of it. I would definitely recommend the restaurant to folks in the area who are looking for a nice bbq experience!

Love this place, service was exceptional! The servers were so friendly here, he offered to help us take a photo of us without asking ? Food was very fresh and tasty too. Highly recommend it.

Great vibe, great food, best of all the waiters went above and beyond to tend to out family and all were very nice and friendly. Will definitely come again next time.
