Little hidden gem in admiralty mall. This one specializes in congee and rice noodles! Ordered the shrimp and Chinese doughnut rice noodles as well as a sweet doughnut it. Everything is made to order so it isn’t fast, but also worth the wait. Food was spectacular, rice noodles are thick and chewy but silky as well. Definitely worth the price and taste!

If you check their menu, you’ll notice several variations of “imitation shark fin soup” (碗仔翅), including versions with bamboo fungus or fish. One might expect this to be their signature dish—especially since even the simplest version costs $8.50, a price point for what is supposed to be Hong Kong’s basic street food. However, disappointingly 90% of the time they only serve the most basic version.

For unknown reasons, It took over 20 minutes to prepare the soup in a very busy food court, which only heightened my expectations—expectations I soon regretted. The soup turned out overwhelmingly salty, yet completely lacking in depth, just one dimensional saltiness with no flavour; the cornstarch hasn’t fully dissolved, leaving visible clumps throughout, there was barely any shredded chicken and mushrooms, and the imitation shark fin was overcooked to the point losing its texture.

Honestly your 6 y.o. nephew could make it better than this restaurant. I just don’t know why they list the 4 soup variations along with the 4-5 other items in their front menu, like they are the must-try specialty.

Theie congee with beef and fish is thick, rich, and satisfying. The crispy Chinese donut wrapped in soft rice roll skin is of high quality, providing a perfect balance of textures.

You can never go wrong with the rice roll and congee combo! The congee is standard, and the rice roll is fulfilling (it has Chinese donuts stuffed in the middle).
I also got a side order of taro cake? I am not what it’s called but it’s soft and easy to eat. The reason I like it is because when I dip it in the congee, it cools the congee down and adds texture to the mix.

Quality of taste for cost of food aka bang for buck is great here. Asian folks are hard markers, shocked this is only rated at 3.5 stars.

Service is your usual experience for an asian food court.

The taste is average, and the porridge in Vancouver is second to none.In particular, my attitude was extremely bad and I refused to answer nine of my questions. There is curry on the menu, and when you place your order, you will say: "It's so hard to make curry!"Definitely recommend, for such poor quality, it's much better to go to Parker Place!

Authentic HK style breakfast...congee & chinese donut, very nice rice rolls, this food court can be very busy on weekends, easier on parking during the week, take out food is not a bad choice.

Parking: phone ahead to order your food, you will get an order number, i would park on the the street, take the elevator up to 2nd floor, less stress to pick up the food.

The cashier's attitude was cold and blunt, and she didn't call out or ring the bell when the meal was ready, leaving the customer to guess whether the meal was theirs. The fried dough sticks are dark brown, and they look like oil that has been reused for a long time. The meat of the preserved egg and lean meat porridge had an unpleasant smell like a stinky rag. It was suspected that it was somewhat spoiled during pickling.

I ordered congee and requested to omit one ingredient for take out. They forgot, I went back and showed them. They took it back and took that ingredient out from the original order. That's what I expected. But when I got home, my congee is just so watery and tasteless with no texture. It was so obvious that they just top up the container with water than anything else.I told them in advance with my request when placing my order. I didn't ask any special out of the ordinary. It is very disappointed.

Personally, I think this is the best porridge restaurant in rmd since the collapse of Daxing. The porridge is delicious. The fried noodles are cooked correctly. The fried noodles are not bad, but the fried rice noodles are a bit outstanding. The fried dough sticks are a bit hard, but the crispy beef tongue is outstanding.

Hidden gem tucked away in a strip mall in Richmond. Authentic flavours of comfort HK food. Lots of local HK immigrants consistently frequent this fast food restaurant throughout our visit. Ongoing customer base goes to show how amazing it is and how authentic it is. The Chinese donut and sweet Chinese donuts are great. The salt Chinese donut took about 20 minutes (made to order) but left a lot to be desired.
My fav is the HK style sampan - but the first morning we visited they said it wasn’t avail. But got to try out the second visit.
Lots of tables in the food court area but does get busy.
