Incredible first experience eating here with my friends! Front desk workers were hospitable and helped me understand what items to order. Was not sure what I was expecting when ordering at a stall in Parker Place, but this stall absolutely blows other chicken options out of the park. Make sure to order the salt and pepper fried chicken, and the spicy wonton (all from the dim sum menu) when you come here.

This is a hidden gem and a must-try if you are stopping by in richmond. The food is incredible for the cheap prices.

This is a Richmond hidden gem!! The food was so delicious!! Ridiculously underrated! I highly recommend their Taiwanese chicken nuggets. It is the juiciest chicken I’ve ever had, hands down. The HK Lemon Tea is a great drink to go with it too.

I loved the tender pork belly inside the Taiwanese style gua bao (台式刈包), and the cashier lady was friendly. The beef noodle soup was salty but I would try another dish from their savoury snacks menu (風味小食).

Traditional Taiwanese food in Parker place. I miss the taste from when old grandma and grandpa was still there.

Food is still good but it was better back in the days.

Plenty of selections to satisfy your taste bud.

Braised pork rice was a bit dry.

Marinated food was good and reminds me of taiwan.

I didn't try their soup noodles this time but from past experience it was good. Similar to those that taste them from street booths in the market.

I’ve been coming here for over a decade, and I’m so glad that, apart from the inevitable rising costs, they haven’t changed their deep-fried chicken thigh with rice. It’s one of my favorite meals ever—the flavorful rice, perfectly cooked veggies, and crispy chicken are just unbeatable. The lady who runs the stall is always so friendly and even recognizes me and my husband! We absolutely love this place and will keep coming back for years to come. Please don't ever change!

Excellent Mom and Pop!

There's a lot of competition for Taiwanese food in Richmond, and the food court itself has plenty competitors.

I decided to try the Gua Bao here - perfectly done. The meat was juicy with a fluffy bun which contrasted nicely with the peanut and sugar. I eat a lot of Taiwanese food in the States and they did an excellent job, I they could compete in Cali.

The owner was also very nice. Final touch was it was a great value.

Highly recommend!

I used like this restaurant, good food and good service. But yesterday, I ordered beef noodle soup and 2 cold side dish, waited for 25 minutes, still no food, which is very unusual. The explanation the server gave me did not make sense at all. So I left.

Joy’s Taiwanese Food at Parker Place mall is a hidden gem! Their beef in marinated sauce is incredibly flavorful, and the deep-fried chicken thigh on rice is perfectly crispy and tender. The ground pork noodles are a comforting delight. The friendly staff make the dining experience even better with their warm hospitality. Highly recommend for an authentic and delicious Taiwanese meal!
