“Obanhmi is my favourite vietnamese sandwich shop in richmond but they recently changed the baguette recipe and I'm not a huge fan. It used to be flakey on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside, but now it's gotten a lot more dense and almost gummy in texture, like the bread wasn't properly proofed before baking. The outside is also really hard and the crust doesn't flake away like it used to. I can feel it cutting into the inside of my mouth
I thought this was just a one time error at first but it's been a couple of months now and it's still the same.. I miss the old bread“

“I really liked the boba milk that I ordered. It was one of the best and one of the most tasty drinks that I have ever drank! It was a great experience being at the shop and drinking it. The service is extremely nice and the milk tea and boba was phenomenal. The boba pearls were extremely chewy and sweet that contrasted the nice and creamy and less sweet milk tea. This was one of the best experiences that I have got from a milk tea shop and the best service I have experiences, Five out of Five stars, 100% coming back.“

We had the mango lover coconut pudding, chicken coconut soup, summer mojito (non-alcoholic) and peach oolong tea with cream cheese. We love everything! That bowl of soup was the best thing at $6!!! So hearty and delicious, especially on a rainy night.“
