Saw a note in display by cashier: 1 US$ = 1 CA$, while the public going rate is 1 US$ = 1.4 CA$.
We came in the morning about 1h after they opened. They had a smaller selection to choose from since they were still prepping a lot of them. If you buy 6 you get a discount. Their buns are pretty good and they were recommended to us by our friend who is a local.

Buns are not bad but some of the girls don’t know anything about customer service or are rude. I noticed the darker skin girl is always greeting customers and being nice but the other lighter skin chubby girl looks unhappy to serve customers. They should train all the girls to greet customers uniformly.

Pastries are pretty good overall. Though the “garlic ham bread” was misleading as the ham portion was simply two 1 inch pieces of ham stuck on each side of the bun — to make it look like it was a larger piece sandwiched in the bread. Service is okay, they only take cash and debit.

There is a lot of variety of Chinese bakery to choose from. My favourite is the pineapple bun.

Good well known Asian Bakery. Very esthetically pleasing pastries where you can't go wrong. Definitely worth a try to impress your Asian friends or anyone who enjoys first class traditional Asian pastries. Large sized pastries that leave a warm and confronting feeling.

I tried to get yummy buns here. To be honest it smells quite good, and has a large variety of different breads. But they only accept cash and debit. And Canadian Debit no less! This is so unfriendly to tourists as I just crossed to Canada yesterday, and I ain't got any cash. The nearest ATM, or 'ABM' as they call it, is half a mile away. A 15 minute walk! How much work do I have to do to get some buns? What type of tax evading store is this!? I will be supporting AMERICAN stores and product from now on!!!

The service from a staff member with long eyelashes was terrible. We had been waiting in line for a long time, and she asked if we hadn't been waiting in line. She really should have paid more attention before speaking. Several other staff members were also very impatient, which made the experience even worse.
