Been going here for years to buy traditional Cantonese buns to bring home with us to enjoy. This the newer of the 2 Richmond locations and is the better of the two to be honest. Service is minimal but again is better than the original location next to Richmond centre mall. Baked goods are fresh and tasty and last for days if kept in the fridge. Will return for more on our next trip to the west coast.
We came in the morning about 1h after they opened. They had a smaller selection to choose from since they were still prepping a lot of them. If you buy 6 you get a discount. Their buns are pretty good and they were recommended to us by our friend who is a local.
Pastries are pretty good overall. Though the “garlic ham bread” was misleading as the ham portion was simply two 1 inch pieces of ham stuck on each side of the bun — to make it look like it was a larger piece sandwiched in the bread. Service is okay, they only take cash and debit.
